don't try to make it seem like it wasn't a huge upset, as good as you thought your team was it wasn't you were just on a crazy hot streak. Haberman had a "contender" team in his eyes but even Spencer said his team wasn't that good. He "dissapoints" every year and keeps using the same tired excuse that Spencer won me the championship. The fact is I drafted the players that went in the Durant trade, no Spencer. Just because Spencer got me a few draft picks it took me actually making something out of them. Haberman is a bitter idiot who has yet to prove anything to me in this league. I went out and got a championship and destroyed him in the finals 4-0. That was also Spencer's doing. "As good as I thought my team was" hahaha OK. My bad. Missed the part where I pretty easily beat two 54 win teams and a 51 win team with that lucky team. Jeez. It wasn't a #1 seed team but it wasn't an 8th seed either, which was my point. awesome, those weren't great teams when you played one you got spanked.

True or false: My team with St. Cloud at PG was an 8th seed roster?

but technically, Spencer got you that far in the playoffs since you had players that I drafted and traded to you using the picks Spencer acquired.

Technically Nanz did not win the title last year, Spence did. Spence created the file with those players. Spence FTW.

chris, there's nothing to argue here. it's literally consensus that you could never even build a contender on your own. look what happened in the first two leagues, and in this league with memphis. you fizzle out because you do a shit job and can't run a team. you're incompetent. everything you won, you won because it was handed to you. you literally have nothing to do with dallas winning. mark decided he wanted to rebuild, and because spence put you in a situation to have the best youth in the league, you were able to get durant. you didn't go out and build any of what you had. when you say things about me never proving myself or others not winning championships, it cracks me up, because you are a known commodity around here. you can't do shit as a gm.
you didn't go from having the worst track record in the league as the memphis gm to suddenly becoming a great gm and winning a ring. the shit you try to get away with saying is just pathetic.

I was always in the fucking playoffs with the Spurs, so what are you talking about? Yeah I never won a championship but I was FAR from the worst GM. As for "having the worst track record" there were at least 10 teams with worst career records than Memphis before Spencer fired me. I never quit get your fucking facts straight for once and stop trying to spew bullshit. Spencer netted me 2 out of 6 picks I acquired. That's all. Sure Mark decided to rebuild, but it's not like he came to me I went to him. It's not like I waited around for every offer. I went out and did the Harrison Barnes deal, then the Roy deal, Durant deal etc. Say what you want, but I never wanted to quit Memphis. I was fired and I'd still be there if I wasn't. I could care less what you say, just because he put a few pieces in place I still had to make moves and I made all the right ones.

Dave deserves some credit too. I think it was his core that he gave up on that I used to trade for youth and picks which allowed Chris to draft well and trade for Durant.
