unfortunately, i don't have much time to discuss things like this more in depth , but you essentially proved my point. i gave a number of reasons for why i declined the trade due to "my value system," yet you don't address one of those elements. instead, you compare things that have nothing to do with me (theo, prior trades) then come to the conclusion that my system is fucked up, very nice. again, when dealing there are two sides to a deal, not one. and just curious, how does this improve my team by dealing those guys?

with regard to the rivalry, who are you? you've done nothing except critique a trade of mine, now we're rivals? and with regard to the picks, i sure hope you have a better team than me in three years. i have a number of vets with no picks while you are getting younger. it makes no sense to assume i'd be better.

and with regard to the girls, i just don't see anyone good looking. the girl you just posted is standing far from the camera, yet her nose is the first thing that sticks out, and she has absolutely no chest. that's cool that you think she's good looking, and i hope you enjoyed hooking up with her, but big noses and no boobs just aren't favorite characteristics of mine. and with regard to the other girls, i had difficulty finding good qualities on each. even people sitting next to me in class were making fun of those girls, laughing at me that i associate with such ugly girls. i guess since i like dudes though, i just don't get it.

Alright man, my bad, I wasn't trying to toss anything serious out there. I was just kind of playing around, I enjoy shit talking to people and I didn't mean to call you out on anything serious. Since you addressed the issue in a mature manner I feel the need to respond the same way, so I'll give you my rationale for your critiques. And again, I apologize about the shit talking - you'll notice I was sending those messages at about 4 in the morning ... I certainly wasn't sober. I wasn't drunk either, but ya know ... I was doing my thing. So yeah, I was certainly dramatizing things more than needbe.

Me and you view players in the FBB game very differently, and that's the cause of our differences in value systems. I see Billups as having very nice on the surface ratings, but poor production. I think it may have to do with your tactics, but I can't be sure. Regardless, it's very troublesome that a guy with his ratings has poor production on a talented team. With the scorers that Billups is able to pass the ball to, he should not be averaging only 7.4 assists and over 3 turnovers. My assumption is that he has an extremely high quickness rating, but a mediocre passing and handling ratings. That would result in his A- handles. I see him as being more useful as a scorer than a pure PG, but at the same time his percentages are low. Players who don't perform up to their ratings are troublesome. The reason I was so interested in Chauncey was I thought a system running a fast offense with him as the #1 option would aid his game. But I think you're attributing too much value to him for a scouted potential rating (as a former commish, I pay almost no attention to scouted potential as it's incredibly unpredictable. I've seen guys with D scouted and 75 real potential before) and a nice ratings set.

It's for the same reason that I think you're undervaluing Bobby Jackson. You keep on citing the fact that he's 29 years old. Um, so? He has improved or maintained his ratings in every TC I've seen in this league. He likely has between 55-65 potential, which won't start to fade until he declines at age 31 or 32. You're still getting at least a season past this one with peak ratings, and I wouldn't be shocked if you get a number more.

On top of that, his production is very promising. On a team with far less talent than yours, and where Jackson is the 2nd option and often has the ball in his hands, he is averaging almost identical assists and turnovers than Chauncey, despite a B- handles rating. Again, what this tells me is that Bobby is likely a fairly slow player but with similar handling and passing rating to Chauncey. Bobby makes up for it by being a lethal outside shooter who doesn't really need his quickness to create shots - this is why he is a slightly more efficient offensive player than Chauncey.

Am I saying that Bobby is better than Chauncey. Absolutely not. But he will be a solid starting point guard for the next three years while the rest of your players blossom. And he is only a slight downgrade in terms of production, which is really the most important thing.

Now, you also say that Richard Jefferson is not an upgrade on any of your current swingmen, and this is also true. Right now. But RJ is putting up very productive stats as the third option on my team - 15.2 PPG on 48.8% from the field for a second year player is pretty ridiculous. Add into that his well rounded game (6.7 RPG, 2.9 APG, 1.6 SPG) and the fact that he has shown considerable improvement in his two TCs and you're looking at a very solid prospect. Additionally, he is only 22 years old. That means you're looking at 3 Reward Camps for him. I intend to spend them on his three point shooting, with the goal of adding a lethal scoring game to his well rounded ratings. Either that, or more steals. It depends on where he improves next TC. He has great size, is a good defender and if he simply continues to improve at his current pace, without reward camps, he'll have ratings something like B- B+ C A- C B next year. That's an improvement in two categories, which is exactly what he's done his last two TCs. Now, RJ isn't better than any of your wing men this year. But then again, you're not winning a title this year. You're winning one when you get more talent. RJ is 100% going to be a better wingman than anyone you have in a few years, when your team might have a shot at winning the show.

Dale Davis shouldn't be starting for you. Him playing 33 minutes a game while Spree, who has sick ratings and averaged 15 6 and 6 in the only season he got major minutes for only playing 5 is kinda foolish man. Don't blame me that you see him as a valuable player and I see him as cap filler, especially when you already have Ratliff, Sheed and Kandi in the frontcourt.

The Kings first has a very good chance of being lotto next year. They are very old and have every contributor expiring except a 32 year old Zo and a 30 year old Hill. If they decide to rebuild next year, that pick will be a key piece in landing either of those players. I was considering sending him a feeler about it this year, but decided to wait until the offseason when it would hold more weight.

All of those reasons are why I considered it a very, very strong offer, and why I'm cool with you not doing it.

The rivalry thing was a joke. I'm a very confident GM, and I felt like you were talking shit like you were better than me. As a result, I decided to put it to a challenge. If you don't want to do it up in three years, how about next year? How about the year after? Just let me know.

Cool, I'll sum it up.

RJ is young, has improved a shitload in TC and has great production. Billups has nice ratings but poor production. BJax hasn't shown any signs of regression and has comparable though admitedly worse production than Billups. The Pistons would be better if they were giving Spree more minutes and using Kandi as a sole backup to Sheed and Theo in the froncourt, making Davis expendable. The Kings pick probably would've been valuable cause they're old and only have two players on roster. I'm a bit of a douchebag when I smoke blunts. I like girls with nice legs, not big tits. That girl sucks dick like a champ.
