Knicks Get:
Derrick Favors Juhani Saarela Paul Milsap
Raps Get:
Elliot Williams Julius Jackson Renaldo McFadden Shawn Burnett George Douglass
2nd Deal
Raps Get
Lakers 25 Nets 25
Knicks Get
Nada
I agree.
I literally give up my best prospects and a guy i really liked in Jackson but favors is a top 10 player. Favors next to dwight gives me a lot of options and the best frontcourt in the league. Been playing it a little too safe lately idk wtf was wrong with me but i expect a lot of moves to be made. I was tired of not being a contender. I think we're in the mix now. I expect Burnett to be a stud after this and for me to hate my life

I've been waiting for DJ to make a move like this all season. I was expecting a CY team to pay up for Favors though.

Sick for Outlawz. The reason he couldn't find the right deal is because no one wanted those players for their studs.

This is just pathetic.
This is an awful deal for Favors, he gets 3 mid-level prospects for the best PF in the league. Ridiculous.
DJ, fucking do something for once, try to compete for fuck sakes, the Raptors are the 2nd most pathetic franchise in the league as far as I'm concerned. You've consistently had a lot of talent throughout the league and never done anything with it, you just make pointless trades, and suck year after year.

Knicks just make their pick worst, bastard. I like Burnett, but none of the prospects he gave up were amazing. Just solid.

Jesus Christ, pathetic. Like it's bad to be fucking 30. HE'S IN HIS PRIME
YOU USED TO BE A GOOD GM. I seriously think he's just spiting Spence or something. This is God awful. Pathetic. He has a top 3 team and just dumps an absolute superstar for total shit. He doesn't get a worthwhile piece back. Fucking awful.

Spencer what's your opinion on DJ and the job he's done.
I know how you feel about his trade ethics but I think a contract year "re-vision" should be made for people like All-Star and DJ who would rather re-build all the time be mediocre and just get by every season.

I actually like the value DJ gets here.
I think he has done a bad job of trying to "go for it" in this version, but he always has a ton of talent and Im guessing he's still waiting for a chance to go on a big run instead of just going for it for a small window.

How long is the wait going to happen? He had a shot last year of pairing up Favors, Durant, Russell and probably would have been a legitimate contender.

Chris, to a certain extent Id prefer DJs style over yours to be honest. I mean I prefer the consistency that he provides then the all in or all out attitude you provide.

awesome track record. One 50 win season. 10 seasons in playoffs and zero finals appearances.

Spence, the thing is, he's never actually tried to go for it. He ALWAYS assembles good young talent, but the second his team becomes a quality team and is only missing that one piece, he decides to go backwards and revamp/rebuild again. This has been an ongoing cycle for 21 seasons. It's completely pointless. He always just ends up being a mid-level team year after year after year.

NEVER. How is that even comparable to me? I try to get better whether or not I fail at that is a different story but I do make an effort.

DJ has done a horrible, horrible job in this version. He must be busy or something because he used to do a good job.
