If I was hornets I would have went after Glen Rice Jr and then ran outside with Sven at PF. Even if you didn't want Rice at PG you could easily pickup some PG that could efficiently run an offense.

Beaubois is a legit PG. Has a pretty solid A:TO ratio. Good rebounder for a PG. He's underrated but gets the job done. With this deal, you go from having another SF (Sven) to have another SG (Fisher). At least you could've went with Beaubois/Melling/Morrison for the rest of the season and checked out how the guys did.

I guess this is not bad for the grizzlies. Hornets should of traded sven for a big man or point guard. fisher cant play the 1.

I like this trade for the Hornets for the simple fact that Morrison will finally get a chance to play his natural position, swingman. He'd be having such a better season if he wasn't wasting away at PG. Still, Fisher is no PG. He can be good, but does nothing for a rebuilding team.
Sven can defend and rebound, so he's cool.
