2 hits, a walk, and 2 errors. Double with 2 on. 2 runs.

Sad I tell you.
I'm curious to see if more than 2 runs has ever been scored in baseball history with only 3 players on base for the entire game...

There could have been 5 players on base in that game. Plus, definitely 3 players on base = 3 runs in dozens of games in MLB history.

That's like saying the Simpsons have done that joke before
When you're around long enough, it's bound to have happened.

Like someone on ESPN said the Marlins were the first team ever to start 11-1 then go 0-7. What a stupid stat. I bet there would be a first for a team to go 31-10 then go 0-4, but who cares?
That'd be like saying the Rockets are on a 21-12 run in the 1st quarter when the score is 21-12.

I'm not sure if they reached base on an error or advanced from first to second, second to third etc on an error, but 2 hits, a walk, and 2 errors could get 5 base runners.

But whitesox made the errors. So it's factual that the sox only had 3 base runners for the entire game.
