I was thinking about this when i was watchin Wade play the other day. A lot of times guys play injured. I'm tired of people winning rings because the better team had injuries. I got fucked a couple of times and nanz has gotten fucked the last 2-3 years. So i was thinking of maybe allowing players that are injured play only backup roles durin the days that they were supposed to be injured during the playoffs depending on the injury.. It's like a guy in real life trying to at least give his team some minutes. I worded it all fucked up but i hope people catch my drift somehow

I would be all for it if we could bring down ratings when injured but I think it is too complicated.

I have Tristan Thompson as a super sub at the 2-3-4 and he gets 35 MPG. You plug in a Durant as a super sub and it is the same thing as him being around.

Maybe if it were a certain % for some injuries.

Itd be alot of work though and it is something Id rather start from the beginning of a sim, not 20+ years in.

yeah it is a really cool idea if we can figure out the right percentages and injuries you can use it on. Of course certain injuries guys cannot play with but like the flu and shit that is petty shit and they would play through it.

It would be complex, but it might be interesting.

It would be complex, but it might be interesting. RC's involved? This is why it would be complex. There would need to be certain injuries that couldnt be affected. Some injuries that players could play through at a certain percentage. Other injuries that players could com back from early. Then each injury could have a variable. For example... Kevin Durant Heat Ruptured Achilles 82 - Im guessing this wouldnt be affected. Joon Seop Choi Warriors Broken Leg 42 - Also wouldnt be affected. Alex Bellhorn Nuggets Fractured Jaw 15 - Could come back at like 60% after 10 days? Tony Galvan Timberwolves Broken Jaw 11 - Could come back at 60% after 10 days? Ja'Shon Garrison Wizards Sprained Knee 6 - Could play at 50% Karron Johnson Cavaliers Broken Finger 6 - Could play at 75% Also, I think it would need to be considered that players that play at a certain % should have their injury prolonged.

If this is the case, it should only apply in the playoffs
Also, the player's ratings should go down two ratings points per category
for example:
Duck-Young Bak Timberwolves Broken Finger 6
Duck-Young Bak SF 26 6'6'' 211 A A- C- B+ B+ C Duck-Young Bak SF 26 6'6'' 211 B+ B D B- B- C
Until the end of the injury

Some of the injuries wouldn't make them bad in each category though. Why would a broken jaw drastically hinder the guy's defense? You know what I mean?

Different injuries change a guy's game in different ways. If we were to do this I wouldn't make it a straight two grade drop in each category. Have standards for each injury, like: broken finger down 2 inside, 2 outside, 2 handle, but only 1 defense.

I say we all meet up and have a 29 man dutch rudder session. This sounds dumb, unless its sexual. if it is sexual, how about a monday night?

Not at all. A sprained ankle would have a bigger role on a guy's defense than a broken jaw, that's what I mean. I think a broken jaw would affect your balance which would affect all aspects of your game.
