WTF do you do for me? Oh ya, I asked you to do RCs for 2 RCs? Thanks man. Or when I said, hey Aaron can you send me a PM so I can do a BBSBL export for ya. Thanks bro. Or that one time when you did a trade correctly? That was sweet. Thanks dude! I didn't even know I got RCs for it When you asked me to find your NBN roster for you and I texted you it!

I still say do it but as a lotto for the 10 worst franchises. No reason to help the strong get stronger and you get what you want.

Screw that. I'm prolly going to end up as like the 12th worst or whatever just because I didn't decide to tank. Tankers shouldn't get rewarded like that.

I said worst franchises, not records. Doesn't mean they tank. It means either they have done a poor job throughout, have had GM's before them do a terrible job or both.
Some franchises need the help though.

Interesting. Couple of ideas. Maybe some of the lower tier franchises can enter a lotto and the 3 winners can offer them contracts but other teams cant? Or the same scenario with all franchises. What constitutes a lower tier franchise? I don't think anyone needs a hand out. Is my team a lower tier franchise? If so then I agree with Spencer.

10 worst franchises is the dumbest fucking idea ever
Either put them in a weak draft or make them fa in like 2027 or 2028 so people have time to make moves to try and get them with cap space

Lol.. I don't know if its just me but most guys sound really selfish.. Spence is trying to spice things up and instead of viewing the situation as how it affects the league they're just looking out for their own situation with their response.. I don't care how west or Osxar come in but definitely should not go to weaker teams. If you've been bad you should not get rewarded for that. Anyways, my point is that we all knew retro was coming. I don't know why people are being so gay. West and Robertson in the league would be cool

I agree with myself and Skillz. Also agree with most of what Outlawz said. Don't agree with Andy. Oh, I agree with CJ too.

All I'm trying to say is that instead of giving the better teams a higher chance of getting it (via FA) or likely having stronger GM's either tank hard for it or trade for it (via draft) we can give struggling teams a chance. There are teams that need help.
If the whole "selfish" thing was towards me, why? Take me out of the drawing. I don't care. It would just be nice to see some balance around here instead of seeing the same teams on top.

If it makes people feel better I won't bid on them if I get free rc's lol but then again Mark would probably get em since he's rebuilding

I don't understand rewarding a team in FA for being crappy. That is what the lottery is for. They shouldn't get any treatment towards getting a superstar player because they've sucked. Makes no sense to me. There are already enough things in place here that keep the rich from getting richer (hard cap). Beyond that, some GMs are better and some are worse. Stuff like this would only alienate the better GMs and it isn't worth it at all.

There are already enough things in place here that keep the rich from getting richer (hard cap). but the rich is always on top while the poor is constantly on the bottom. There is rarly any chance between "rich" and "poor" and if there is, it's for a season or 2. If we're content with that then cool. Let's put em in FA then.

I lost Duck (probably the most valuable piece in the league... definitely top 5) in FA and still built this team in 2 more seasons. Weak argument or maybe I'm just that good

I don't want to go out of my way to attack the GM base but I don't know how many teams would've actually been able to recover and not be stuck in a CV cycle. Definitely less then a hand full.

Which goes back to the whole "1 or 2 years chance then back to normal" thing. Like I said though, if it isn't a big deal then fine with me. I was just throwing it out there.

contract year. you know, suck for 3 years, win in the 4th to stay alive. rinse and repeat for the next 12 years.
