Rumors are still alive that Amare could head to DC on draft night. McGee and the pick for Amare? I really like McGee alot. The pick could be James Harden. Both would be nice fits IMO. Jamison, Mike James, #5 (being Hill) for Amare is what I've mostly heard. I don't think they'll move McGee at all. I'd love it for the Wiz. Would be very exciting. Haywood played well yet again at the end of last season and has emerged as a quality starting C. Plus, they'd still have tons of youth in McGee, Dom, Blatche, and others.

If the Wiz actually keep the pick, which seems highly unlikely, I want Tyreke Evans. I've heard he has been completely dominant in his workouts.

I've also heard the Knicks are interested in trading up to #5 but I doubt the Wiz get anything done with them.

I think Memphis has to take Rubio. I mean maybe they take Thabeet, but I think they need to take Rubio and either try and convince him to come over, or trade him for a big man like Amare or Bosh. Rubio isn't really a need for MEM but I don't think they can pass on him.

I don't think they'll take Rubio. I'll go with Thabeet.

Hasheem Thabeet
Why?: The Grizzlies want him and trading down to 4 is too risky with the Thunder needing a big man. Instead, the Kings will trade up to 3 for Rubio.

Memphis isn't taking Rubio unless they deal him. It'd be cool if they dealt the pick for Love.
But if they make the pick, I'll say it's Thabeet. Harden's awesome, but they have Mayo and Gay on the perimeter.

So 3 for Thabeet, 2 for Rubio.

I love Evans, btw. I was down on him early on last year. His TOs suck and his jumper isn't that great, but he can really play. Explosive, very good D, handles. Lots to like there. I think he could be better than Stuckey.

Yeah, I like Evans a lot right now. He has that strange release which is a bit concerning, but as I said I've heard nothing but positive things regarding him during workouts. Should be a fun player to watch.

I think he' be a sick it with Monta in the backcourt. Evans can handle and guard SGs. Perfect.

I would love it if he somehow fell to the Raptors at 9
If not, I'm cool with DeRozan

He's gonna be good. He needs to learn to finish drives that he doesn't start from the baseline, but he's very talented. Gonna be a great shooter and slasher. He has a nice spin move he can pull up off of, he can knock down 3s, and he's awesome in the air. Good rebounder, too.
