I agree. Completely horrendous deal for me. So bad. I offered Nova this package for what I thought was Bigelow (in my mind) but it said Duck. I still like the things we get and we will be a good team but it's atrocious value wise. So yee, I deserve all of the criticism for this one!
Really though, i'm going to go with an unconventional approach (something i've always wanted to try in FBB) and do the OPPOSITE of what everyone else is doing. I'm going to go with an inside team with sick perimiter defenders instead of the "ideal" outside team with good post defenders.
Bigelow/Metcalf/Cam/SG coming/Sembene, good bench
Leroy should have 100 potential, but meh, deal sucks.

Pacers Accept. We've literally discussed like 4 different deals for Duck in the last 2 days, and this is the only one that I really felt comfortable with. I love Cam and Sembene, but I love Duck more.
Leroy's probably a steal too, but oh well, gotta sacrifice.

Seriously, I thought this was a rape for Nova, but then I saw:
452 Leroy Walker SG 19 6'4'' 204 C B C C+ C- B
and I was like, jeeze, with 100 potential, this guy could get up to B-/B+/C/B-/C. Scary stuff. We won't know who won this deal until we see just how good Agent 452 becomes. He has the potential to be lethal. The guy went up to B potential in TC, so to add Sembene and Carter in this trade just seems excessive to me.

Grizz Trade: Leo Tate Thomas Edwards III Nigel Dial Knicks Trade: Marcus Bigelow I agree. This will make more sense later but for now i really like this deal. I love Tate but he's expiring and will require a huge deal, not a big Edwards fan at all, so i think it's awesome to get another dominant force. Ah, the master plan unfolds! |
