I don't really care how refreshing or not shit may appear to anyone. My opinion is what it is and I will never sugarcoat anything for anything or anyone. You make a mistake and you rectify it by making another mistake?. Mark got saved big time by this deal. All his pieces suck. (No offense mark). I kinda like kennedy though. I know my opinion is not valued but I'm just sayin what most people think. Blue said it best when he said there's no way mark gets a player of kemp's value with this deal with anyone else but he gets it from the guy that runs the league.. LOL!! I'm done though. Good shit by mark. He rapes the newbie and rapes the commish the next day. I'm impressed lmao |

Word.. I forgot about that dj deal..didn't he rape a new guy and dude got fired and the trade vetoed. Does anyone remember exact details. I guess the precedent didn't apply then

K. Ya, cant make everyone happy for sure. Regardless of the decision here people would've been upset, so what I do is take a step back and look at the problem. The problem was I hired a crap Gm and he got raped. So I need to set a precedent. The precedent is if you spend a good amount of time making a deal with a new guy, Ill probably end up making the trade work with you and firing or replacing the new GM. I think that's a fair precedent. If DJ made this deal everyone would have bitchedt about it and you would have vetoed it...its that simple...You favor certain gm's which is bullshit and how the hell do you know how much time he spent trying to deal with the new gm? He knew he was going in for the rape before he even PM'd him and he probably also knew you would allow it. A lot of bullshit goes on here and its getting old. I knew how much time he spent because he posted it in the trade thread. I think I came to the right decision based on the circumstances and not based on who was involved. |

That changes things if in fact I dealt with a situation differently. Precedent is pretty important to me, so Id change my mind on this ruling if I had treated a similar situation differently.

I'll look for it, but I'm pretty sure it was with a guy who was about to get contract yeared and he made a horrible trade that had no chance of giving him 40 and would just ruin it for the next guy? Pretty sure that was it. |
