Ok, so theres rumors that the Heat are going to trade Haslem and a youngster for Carlos Boozer, and possibly sign Allen Iverson or Lamar Odom(but i highly doubt either of those will happen) in an attempt to have Dwyane Wade sign a contract extension.. i'm looking at all this and just laughing, am i the only one?
In my opinion, Dwyane Wade should have won MVP last year. The numbers he put up were absolutley astounding. The Heats' win total went from 13 to 42, not becaues of Beasley but because of a healthy Wade. I think he's the most dynamic, all around young talent in the game, and currently is the second best plsurt in the league behind Kobe Bryant(LeBron James third). The impact he has on his squad, which you know is an awful cast, and the numbers he puts up is much more valuable to me than LeBron or Kobe putting up big numbers with a way better team. Wade is a true warrior.
But heres' my question. Do you think he will stay in Miami next season? To me, he's the most likely to depart besides Chris Bosh, but honestly I just don't know where he would go.
Wade married his high school sweetheart, which tells me he is a loyal guy. I know him and Bosh are close, call me crazy but I think Wade is playing Miami for fools right now. I think him and Bosh have a plan inplace, involving Bosh signing with Miami.. cause you know he is leaving Toronto. I think Wade is playing his cards perfectly, he's scaring Miami enough to force them to make a solid move now, but infact he's not going to leave and he's forcing Miami to add pieces to HIS TEAM.. only bettering them in the future after him and bosh team up. What do you guys think?

LeBron had a way better team because LeBron is a lot better than Wade. Wade's supporting cast is better than LeBron's IMO, and if nothing else they're equal.

I don't know what statement is false? That LeBron is better than Wade? That Cleveland's supporting cast was a joke?

What would Miami have done if they had LeBron and not Wade? I absolutely love Wade, but LeBron is better. That "amazing" Cleveland supporting class did not get Cleveland the extra 24 wins.

You're overrating LeBron's cast tremendously. It's horrible. If you think Wade's is worse that is fine, but it doesn't get much worse. LeBron is a better player than Wade is. LeBron's supporting cast is obviously not 24 wins better than Wade's.

You're under rating Mike Brown's system and how well LeBron's support plays within that system. Their team defense is top notch. As individual players, the two supporting casts are comparable, but as a unit, it's not even close.
Yes, Cleveland's supporting cast is something like 15-20 wins better than Miami's, the rest is accounted for how much Lebron is better than Wade.

Cook and Chalmers>Mo and West going forward. Nobody in the NBA gets more undeserved praise than Mo Williams. Cook and Chalmers is the backcourt Cleveland is DESPERATE to surround Bron with. Miami's supporting cast was worse than Cleveland's, though. Cleveland's big rotation, wow, it really shits the bed. Those guys can't play at all anymore. I thought Varejao might really develop but he's worse than Haslem, just longer and more active (he fouls too much for this to be a serious positive.) Z doesn't post up anymore, can't set a screen and couldn't guard an ant with a broken leg. WTF.
As Beasley, Cook and Chalmers improve, Miami's core will blow by Cleveland's talent-wise. I like Delonte West, but he's a tweener who's better off play 18 mins off the bench. Mo has no true point guard skills, and isn't a good defender. He's awesome off the dribble but for the most part is a shooter in Cleveand--really talented offensive player but nowhere, nooooooowhere near an adequate second fiddle. I like Miami's core a lot more than Cleveland's going forward.
It's not really worth getting into, because Wade is a top 3 player, and did have an MVP-worthy season last year, but I don't think there is a legitimate argument that Wade is a better player than Bron. What does he do better? They have pretty similar strengths, except Bron is so much bigger and a good amount better. Just my opinion.

LeBron is better. Clevelands supporting cast worked with what they wanted to do last year which made it better than the Heats imo. The Heat have more talent in their supporting cast. There is no question about that IMO

I wish we would talk about the important topic, of Bosh going to Miami, rather than the endless argument whos a better player, Wade or LeBron. They are #2 and #3 in the league, either or, I think we all argee on that.
But with that being said, I can't help but put my two cents in.
LeBron is NOT better than Wade. Who led the Olympic team to a gold medal? Wade did. I don't care how bigger/stronger LeBron is, Wade is ripped as well. It's all about playing with heart and passion, laying your body on the line, whats Wades commercials about? Getting knocked down 9 times, standing up 10. I don't see LeBron diving for loose balls or none of the hustle plays needed to win a championship.
Who has a ring? Wade single handedly lead his team down from a 2-0 deficit to win the finals, he had Shaq, Antoine Walker, James Posey, and a bunch of scrubs.
And Wow, how is miamis supporting cast better than cleveland, the defending EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS?? I dont even need to argue that one... that is ridiuclous argument.

Bosh is from Dallas, but has said that he won't end up in Dallas because Dirk is the man there. Not to mention Dallas won't have the cap space to sign him (I guess they could work a sign-and-trade). The Rockets will have at least pretty close to a max offer to throw at Bosh, and my guess is he would sign with Houston if things fell in line that way.

And LOL isn't Wade getting divorced from his "highschool sweetheart" because he allegedly never sees his kids, cheated on her, and gave her a STD?

Wade has no reason to leave Miami if they are good.
The idea that Miami's supporting cast is better than Cleveland's is laughable. Jermaine O'Neal is more talented than Zydrunas Ilgauskas, but Z is the better player. ETC.

Cleveland's supporting cast is better but Miami's has more potential in the long run.
