Alright yeah. I am going to be honest here, I simmed ahead. LOL, Big fucking deal. I simmed ahead and looked to see how my team did in the playoffs. We did not make the finals once. The next thing I checked was to see how pearson did and some other players on my team. My team looked absolutely the same besides the fact that the computer did some changing of players on my roster.
I am being honest here and I hope everyone understands. I simmed ahead but the only thing I checked is my team. You can take that for what it is, believe me or not. I really dont give a shit. I am telling the truth, I did not look through out the league I did not look at other peoples TCs, I dont even know what anyone did. So what I Checked out pearson he stayed the same. What does that mean? Nothing. Some people will be mad at me, thats fine. I will sim 10 days now. I never cheated to get an unfair advantage over anyone.
I never resimed a sim to win.
I never looked to find the right dc.
I just simmed. And the results happened.
Believe me or not, do what you want
I will sim 10 days now.

I believe Dan in what he did and why he did it...but he still got to see how the guys on his team performed over the next couple years and how some of the younger guys performed (and thus progressed through TCs) around the league. Regardless, there is an unfair advantage in Dan's favor with what happened here.....
And I really can't believe that Aaron would write that he'd expect anyone else that Spencer gave the file to to sim ahead. That's just ridiculous in my opinion. I know it's easy to say, but I wouldn't sim ahead simply because I'd want to be proud that I would do well in the future because of the moves I made and not because I took advantage of having the file and saw how players performed within the next couple years (and knew who to target and/or trade away).

Spencer doesn't allow anyone to do that when he's here, why does it automatically become OK when he's gone to do it?

Scott, I am being honest here and tell you right now that I did not even look at my teams stats. I did not. I dont know why I just didn't. AGAIN, I did not look around the league at the younger players as well, believe it or not, I didnt. I just didnt do it. I could not tell you about frazier, or riley or any of those guys because I did not even look at any other team page. Maybe there is an unfair advantage to me, fine penalize me. But I am being honest here and saying I did not look at the rest of the league. |

I find it ridiculous that people are saying that it's ok and it's nothing. I know for a fact the same guys would not be singing the same tune if it was play or dj for example. It's fucking cheating even if it was for just your team. Had he not been caught he would not have owned up to it so excuse me if I don't believe a cheater. I like dan but the reactions are kind of funny. I will not be a part of this league if dan is simming he should not even touch the file anymore. Tainted in my eyes. Funny to think he's like ok so what and yee 10 day sim. LOL hilarious! If dan sims anymore it will be useless because spence should just re-sim from the point at which he left.

Who is saying OK and nothing? I suggested to Maniac that a fair way to punish him would be to maybe put a trade ban until the next TC? Or off-season? That way no one could argue he made a trade because he knew something about a player. I don't think anyone is saying he wasn't wrong or disagreeing at all with those who said he was wrong. I mean, Outlawz, didn't Aaron quote your first post and say he agrees with the points? Pretty sure he did. To think any of his friends would rip him to shreds on a forum is idiotic. I do think this is complete bullshit, but this is bbs so I really don't care that much. The damage is already done. What else Dan can do to cheat? The same thing? Big fucking deal. Even having said that I think we should probably wait for Spence to get back before simming anymore.
As for only looking at his team... I don't believe that at all. If you sim ahead then you are going to end up looking around at the rest of the league.
