I always like to pose the, if you could have one album, or one movie, what would it be? recently I was thinking about what my favorite song was and I think it depends on how quickly I enjoyed the beat and lyrics of the song. AT any point you can probably grow to like a song, but how often is a song awesome from the first time you hear it? So as I thought about this I came to the conclusion that my favorite song of all time is Immigrant Song from Led Zeppelin. I love Zeppelin, and so many of their songs have really lasted the test of time. I think I like Immigrant Song so much because it is short, and relatively simple, but it just rocks. Plus it was the first song on their 3rd album. I always think the first song of the album is usually the catalyst for the album, so when the first song is sick, you just cant wait to hear the rest. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwG8WXYAHR0Anyway, what is your favorite song of all time?

I could tell you my favorite Led Zeppelin song, which is Battle of Evermore. Such a great song.
As far as favorite song, that's impossible for me, really. I listen to songs a lot in spurts, but I can't honestly say which song is my all-time favorite. I could do a list of the songs I've listened to most and which are clearly up there, but I think I need to wait a bit to figure out which song stands out when I'm older.
Up there though:
Fake Palindromes by Andrew Bird Fireworks by Animal Collective Another Radio Song by Okkervil River Neighborhood #1 by The Arcade Fire (first song on their album, I totally agree about that) Your Rights Versus Mine by The New Pornographers (first song again) Exit Music for a film by Radiohead Boys, you won't by The Wrens Mr. November or The Geese of Beverly Road by the National Start of Something by Voxtrot
Eh, I'm going to stop because I'm really just wasting my time and could probably end up with 30 more songs before I realize it. I like a lot of songs. Fake Palindromes is likely my favorite, but again, I've listened to a lot of songs over and over so it's nothing definitive for me.

There is no way I could give you my favorite song. Since Led Zeppelin is my favorite band, there is no way I could say my favorite song of theirs either. My favorite album would be either Houses of The Holy or Physical Graffiti (Side 2 in particular).
If I could only have one album to listen to it would probably be one by Bob Marley and the Whalers. I can listen to them anytime.

Favorite song is really hard but I love Shakedown Street by the Grateful Dead. Great song to hear live and always makes me groove when I have it on my ipod. Really cool skating down broadway in manhattan weaving in and out in between taxis with millions of people surrounding you with that song jamming. Its a pretty cool experience. www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-EI-yid1NYI could easily pick a lot of Bruce Springsteen songs or Blink 182 too. Both have a lot of songs I can relate to experiences in my life whether it be good times or bad I can hear that song and its like taking me right back to the moment like a time warp. I also have a few albums I love where I can pretty much sing along from song 1 to the end like its one big song.

Why do you say blink 182 are jerkoffs? I saw them every summer in my teen years and I have some great memories of going to their shows from before, during, and after the concert it was always a great time

Not to mention that they are essentially talent-less

Linkin Park were assembled by a lawyer and record label They're more boy band than Blink 182, who at least started from the bottom and worked their way up.
But Blink 182 are still a bunch of pricks
