So you guys are saying Curry's going to be an all-star player at the next level? Had you even heard of him before this tournament? I've heard of him before the tournament, and no I don't think he'll be an all-star

I'd rather have Curry than Scheyer too, but everyone knows Scheyer's not an NBA prospect.

So you guys are saying Curry's going to be an all-star player at the next level? Had you even heard of him before this tournament? Me and my friends (Aaron is one of them) drove 8 hours to Buffalo last year to watch two NCAA tournament games. One was an Old Dominion game. The other was Maryland-Davidson, where Curry scored 30. So yeah, we kind of heard of him.

Learn to read.
Curry probably won't even start, but he's the type of player who could come off the bench and give you 12-13 a night and win a 6th man of the year award or two.

So you guys are saying Curry's going to be an all-star player at the next level? Had you even heard of him before this tournament? Yeah, are you serious? I saw him play last March, and was well aware that Davidson has scheduled Duke, UNC, and UCLA as early as last summer when Andy Katz wrote an article on them. I follow sports, sorry if you don't? Nobody said he's an all-star, but OK.

I'd rather have Curry than Scheyer too, but everyone knows Scheyer's not an NBA prospect. but he was a big time high-school prospect and got a scholarship offer from Duke. Curry wasn't well-known and didn't get offers from big time schools, which goes hand in hand with your "there's a reason he's at Davidson" comment.

I know Aaron can remember when I refused to do anything but watch UNC-Davidson in November (waited for it for a week), and then texted him updates throughout the game because he was at a concert. He wasn't an unknown.

I never once said he wouldn't MAKE it to the NBA, just not succeed.

There's another quality post by Play! I just find it funny that you said that....There are plenty of players who came from small schools to succeed in the NBA....Curry will probably never be an all star but he will have a place in the league...He does need to bulk up though.

Define suceed.
No one's saying he'll be a star SG and score 20 a game, we're saying he'll probably be a dangerous player off the bench with the potential to one day potentially be a starter.

Twist what? All it comes down to is different opinions, your not an expert in here either. Don't have to get all e xcited about it.

Seriously, you made a stupid comment about him being at Davidson, and you're pretty much saying he can't be successful because of that. Read your comments. Now you're just getting extremely defensive, and anyone can see it.

JJ couldn't drive like him and didn't have the same release. Even so, I still expect JJ to be successful, he just hasn't gotten a chance. Shooters this good who can get a shot off this quickly will always have a place in the NBA, and will be valuable.

It's not a big deal it's just that alot of people are jumping on his bandwagon because of his first three games in this tournament. Yeah, he's been great all year I know that but I think his size and defensive abilities will limit him at the next level. I don't think his body is going to be a good mold in the NBA. That's it, it's simply my opinion.

Yeah I know what type of player he is at this level too, no one can act like they know for sure how his game will translate in the NBA though.
