How do you put him in a man situation? Ridiculous. Should've been an obvious baseline screen and curl, maybe get the defender in the air and go to he basket, maybe kick it, maybe shoot the three. This play gave him no options but to hope for a good screen and a look at the basket, which of course failed. You can't just put the ball in his hands in iso and set a screen. Not how he plays. Get him his look off a pass with enough space for his shot. Fuck.

Sander was open on the pick and pop... he can hit that shot. When Rush fell, he should've set that fucking screen. Clueless play. yup that would've worked too... I just remember when Sander hit from that distance earlier in the game

Damn, Curry should have passed it sooner when the Jayhawk player fell over. He was wide open.
oh well.
I was 3 for 4 on my final 4. Not too shabby.

I'm just curious, but was the coach trying to set Curry up for a game winning three of a pick?
Like aaron said, they should have set up a catch and shoot.

I just don't understand him bringing it up. This is miserable.

I think they were worried that if he didn't bring it up that that they wouldn't be able to get him the ball and it would be a busted play.

Richards is a good PG... no reason he couldn't set up the play. Curry works best w/o the ball.

and with attention Curry receives off screens if they couldn't get him the ball they could've gotten a good set shooter like Barr a clean look

Yup, not a good call for the final play. Richards should have brought up the ball, and a lot faster, and then worked through their offense and tried to get Curry the ball, if not, try to pentrate into the lane.
Just an awful call for the last play.

Curry will be exactly similar to what his dad did in the NBA, he will be a good role player.

Looks like WKU's Sweet 16 run got Darin Horn a promotion, he was named the South Carolina HC today.

Reilly, what makes you think that? There are lot of big guys who could go top 20 (Lopez, Jordan, Hibbert, Love, Thabeet, Arthur, Hans, Randolph, Hendrix, Hardon, Anderson), and Clark's I think the skinniest and smallest of all of them. He's got awesome length and athleticism, but you really think he can go from Louisville's bench to the top 20 without a really, really raw offensive game (needs major work) and no muscle? just what i hear from people who know these things. and pitno benched him because he wanted him to stay another year. it has nothing to do with his game. look what happens when he gets time, he kills it out there. it's all politics with pitino. scouts know this about him, so they are not holding it against earl. i might be wrong, but i trust these people over anything else i hear. He's staying!

"Rick Pitino came out and announced that Clark will be returning for his junior season—all the way back in January., reportedly after conferring with his parents. Clark already came out after his team’s exit from the NCAA tournament and confirmed that he will be returning."

Based on the players, KU should win.
Based on the coaching, Memphis should win. Bill Self is just atrocious.
