Alexander was an average player for 2/3 of the season. WVU won't be a Big East title contender next year without him but they still should be a top 10 team in the conference with the only other real loss being Nichols who Mazzula will likely be better than to start next season.

Reilly, what makes you think that? There are lot of big guys who could go top 20 (Lopez, Jordan, Hibbert, Love, Thabeet, Arthur, Hans, Randolph, Hendrix, Hardon, Anderson), and Clark's I think the skinniest and smallest of all of them. He's got awesome length and athleticism, but you really think he can go from Louisville's bench to the top 20 without a really, really raw offensive game (needs major work) and no muscle?

Ok, but are they a tournmanet team without him? I know they're bringing in a guy from Mount Vernon, right? Anyone else?

I think he meant a team in the top 20 has given Earl a guarantee, though wouldn't that be illegal at this point in the year?

and earl is going to be more of a 3 in the pros, not a 4. so in terms of that position, the only guys that rival earl are galinari and greene. not many others out there.
personally, i hope he goes back to school and goes the full four years. he'd be scary.

Mazzula played a great game against Duke... that's pretty much the only time I've seen him play but he seems pretty good

Besides Kevin Jones we got Darryl Bryant from NYC Roscoe Davis from Hargrave Huggins has been talking to Ebanks ever since Sampson was out at IU. I doubt we get him but that would make us a tournament team for sure.

I would not be surprised to see Huggins nab Ebanks... great recruiter

I keep hearing things about Memphis being after Ebanks and I think he would go there before WVU.

Miss State almost tied it there. They should have started fouling earlier.
Memphis' FT shooting is gonna do them in soon enough.

Is Calipari retarded?
He just said his FT shooting won him the game and "all that stuff about our FT shooting goes out the window now I guess."
Not quite, you shot under 50% from the FT line!

Arkansas & Oklahoma just got trounced.
UNC has gone over 100 points in both games, then again, Mt. St Mary's & Arkansas aren't exactly tough teams really.

Ebanks wants $$$$ where ever he goes and I'm sure Huggins wouldn't mind giving it to him.

Will Stephen Curry be an NBA player? Surely he doesn't have the size and he plays for a mid major, but something about him is special. The way he moves without the ball is extremely impressive, he reminds me a bit of Kevin Martin and Allan Houston (especially in the way he moves), just without the size.

he's very frail and he'll struggle against defenders with long wingspans and 5 inches on him. But with the right work ethic he can find a place for himself in the league. He's a sick jumpshooter and he works hard to be active in his team's offense
