I'm a Pirates fan so one can only imagine how exciting I am for our opening pitch tonight.

The Bucco's are going to win the Central. Play doesn't believe me.

- Reds will be way better than last year, don't worry - Cubs choking this year will be no different than the last 100 years.
- STFU everyone, Expos will easily win it all. Idiots.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict their season. They've always had talent, but screw it up.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict their season. They've always had talent, but screw it up. The Cubs will take the Central...Wood let the Brewers put up 3 runs in the 9th not sure how he will succeed as closer...I think Marmol will probably take over that role later in the season.

I watched alot of his starts with the Orioles last year... I really hope he does well in Seattle. I heard he didn't have a good spring training though.

I watched alot of his starts with the Orioles last year... I really hope he does well in Seattle. I heard he didn't have a good spring training though. Yeah, he gave up a lot of runs. But spring doesn't mean much. Anyway, through 2 innings, Bedard has thrown 54 pitches, and only 27 strikes. That's not good at all. Thankfully, we've only given up 1 run. And right now we got 2 on with no outs.

with the O's he did a good job keeping his pitch count low and going deep into games, especially for a strikeout pitcher. He got injured late in the year, not sure if the injury is still hampering him.

Yeah he did, and he didn't even play in September. Otherwise he would've let the majors in K's, and by a wide margin.
