Defense was very good once again... unfortunately Sanchez and the offense couldn't stay on the field and the D got tired. We should have more depth defensively once Pace/Strickland/Lito return. Pretty abysmal play calling by Schotty. yup...night and day with offense and d. couldn't be more excited for this defense at full strength. sanchez needs to start checking and pumpfaking safeties because that was pathetic today. but the playcalling blew, especially the pass call on 3rd & 1 in the 4th. momentum killer. but hopefully the offense rebounds and they keeping rolling.

What a week for me to pick up the 9ers defense. I got 39 from them, 27 from Big Ben and 9 from the rest of my team.

Marty thinking Mendenhall sucks is really encouraging for me. I generally just take what he says regarding football and run in the complete opposite direction with it.
Mendenhall for the HOF.

Got a big week this week. Forte is on a bye week, which sucks, but I picked up Mendenhall. I have:
QB K. Warner WR A. Johnson WR J. Cotchery WR J. Jones RB R. Brown RB R. Mendenhall TE D. Clark W/R J. Stewart
Now, since Texans are weakest at their secondary, I think it's a good idea to start Warner (even though he's sucked) over Campbell. I'm pissed someone beat me to Crabtree since I usually beast on signing people, but I'm definitely weak at the receiver spot. So far my assessments on Jacoby Jones have been spot on, starting him each time he's either caught a TD or returned one off a punt, but the primary reason I picked him up was because it seemed like we were using him more as a receiver now, but since Kevin Walter came back, his role has dropped big time. Should I start Laveranues Coles over him? I also have Ricky Williams I could start over Jonathan Stewart, but I'm not sure about having both Brown and Williams against the Jets D. What do you think?

I think Campbell has been much worse than Warner, Warner is a great start for this week.
Crabtree will not be a significant fantasy player at any point this season he's missed way to much time to have a significant role. If you are in a keeper/dynasty league well then that's a different story.
I can't believe you still have Coles he's a drop at this point, he's been awful. This is the one year I would very much consider starting two RBs from the same team at the same time like Rice/McGahee and Brown/Williams during certain matchups. This week against the Jets defense is not one of those weeks.
Mendenhall is a must start against DET as long as Willie Parker does not play.

Braylon Edwards to the Jets... can't say I'm all that thrilled about it.

Yeah but is Rice > J. Jones this week? Yes, it looks like it's Berrian, Rice, Shiancoe, and Harvin in terms of targets in that order. Jones is the 3rd maybe 4th option in Houston. Rice is a great start this week.

then sign Rice, watch his value inflate and do it but do not pass up on Rice for this week. He's a Tier 2 WR in the majority of expert rankings for the week.

Ya I signed Rice. He was the only guy in the pool left I wanted to sign. I'm 3-1 and need to pick up the win this week.
