Ok guys... due to popular demand I will be running the Hockey and Basketball Keeper leagues this year again.
I will allow for 5 keeper s for both leagues.
The basketball league will go from 14 GMs down to 10(possibly 12 based off of demand)
The hockey league will stay at 10 GMs(or I think it was 8 last season but we'll see)
So the basketball league will have 9 or 11 spots based off of demand. The hockey league will have 7 or 9 based off of demand.
We will all decide on a draft date and process? Whether people will prefer a board draft or live.

an e-mail invite was sent to previous GMs of the basketball league last year, they get first preference. If you were in the league last year, are still in BBS, and did not receive an e-mail invite let me know and I will PM you the info for the basketball league.
You are able to see last year's rosters in a drop-down menu which will allow you all to pick your keepers.

Sounds kinda weird. So you pick players that you want to keep forever and nobody else can ever take them? Then you draft the rest of the players every seaosn? It runs alongside the NBA, which makes it all real-time like normal fantasy football right?
Hmm... if I'm right in those assumptions, sounds pretty taxing and you have to be really involved.

lol yes that is how all fantasy games have worked Doesn't work like that with football though. I've never ever played fantasy basketball but I had assumed it'd be like how fantasy football works. You get a budget, you buy players that fall within the budget. This seems completely different.

And in regular fantasy football you can have the same players as everyone else as long as it falls within your budget.

there is salary cap fantasy games... but those aren't popular and I dislike them. I dislike how the fantasy football games are set-up like the Premier one and La Liga one are set up because they aren't as fun in my opinion.
With how Fantasy league are set-up in America, everyone has a different team from everyone else in the league. That means Dwight Howard won't be on 3 different teams, like Adebayor could be on 3 different teams in Fantasy football. Is it more time consuming? I guess to a certain extent, but it's not as difficult as you state.
Fantasy football what you know is not how fantasy games are typically played here... I hate how fantasy football is set-up.

Lol you can't say it's dumb for that reason. The point of not limiting players to teams is so that it's accessible to the entire world. That way you can compete against people across the globe. If you have a limited number of players, you straight away limit the number of players who can compete against each other.

Basically, fantasy football the way it's set up here means you can play against an unlimited number of people across the globe, despite having the same players on your team. In your version, you can only compete with people in the same league as you, which is capped at like 11 teams or whatever you're talking about, because the players (athletes) are limited - only one team can have Dwight Howard for example. But then if you want to compete against people outside of your league you have to create a new team in a new league right? In our version you create and manage one team and play against whoever you want.

Why would I want to be in a league of a million instead of a league of 12.

Like the NBN one... that's just competing with however many ore in the group, but the same team I have is competing in 3 other leagues too, as well as the overall ones. Why wouldn't you want to be in those kinda leagues where you can can win prizes for no entrance fees etc? I'm not saying the way you're talking about is shit or anything like that, just debating your point that the way I'm used to is dumb, simply because you can have the same player on more than one team. Your way just seems more restrictive imo.
