The Warriors suck because they have a horrible owner and a coach that doesn't coach defense. The fans are probably the one thing that has been solid throughout their history in Oakland. Completely horrible argument. You could say I overvalue the Warriros youth, but Morrow is a sick shooter that improved over the offseason. So ya, if Morrow isnt a starter in the NBA in 3-5 years you can say I was wrong. You do overvalue the Warriors youth...You just said you wouldn't add Morrow to a deal for Bosh if it included Randolph...Thats pretty crazy. I dont see the point of it honestly.

Randolph, Morrow and Jackson or Maggs would still be a GREAT deal for the Warriors.

Its the beginning of the season, everyone, even fans of shitty teams have high hopes on something. Morrow played good but anyone can in that system. Morrow only put up 14ppg in his last year in college. Not adding a player that isnt a starter on a bad team in a trade for a superstar like Bosh is just dumb. If Toronto did that trade, they would be in the same position the Warriors are in now. Plenty of good complementary players but no star, and no defense.

You are excited about the NBA, which you say sucks, and you don't even have a favourite team? That is weird as shit to me. he's just a spanish homer if a spanish player does well, rest assured martinez will be around to talk shit actually no, I hate Jose Calderon and Jorge Garbajosa. I don't even like Pau Gasol much but yeah I have a man-crush on Ricky and Rudy. I had a favorite team they were the Seattle Supersonics with Kemp, Payton, Schrempf, McMillan, Xavier McDaniel etc. Over the years I've liked the Warriors, New Orleans/Charlotte, Clippers, Knicks, and the Trail Blazers mostly because they had players I liked at one point or another i.e. Jason and Quentin Richardson, Darius Miles, etc. and yes I'm excited about this year but I clearly stated I probably won't watch a single game until playoffs.

Greg Oden has no NBA offense Randolph>Oden Hell no, once Oden learns how to stay on the floor he will be a top 5 defensive big immediately. Look at Oden's stats per 36 minutes, when he is actually on the floor he is extremely productive.

I don't get how you don't have a favourite team unless you live in a city without a team which would be understandable (I am in that position for football really). The thing I love about sports is rooting for your team and being a homer, and arguing with other homers. It is awesome when people refer to the team as us, or we. I hate when dudes are cheering for teams of towns they don't or have never lived in, most the time they are bandwagon hoppers. I know a guy who cheers for the Yankees but lives in Philly, all of a sudden he is a Phillies fan now too

What kind of stats is Randolph putting up last year? I didn't watch the kid I am basically going off the top, but I highly doubt he is better prospect than Oden.

I lost interest in basketball when all my favorite players retired.. and in this new "modern-NBA" it's really rare that a team's core unit is the same for many years mainly due to the economy and luxury-tax etc.
So when my favorite players like Jason Richardson get traded from team to team after team it's really hard to latch on to a particular team.
I live in New Jersey and never had any interested in any local teams outside of the Devils.
My team for football has always been the Buccaneers and is the only sport I truly follow consistently outside of European football. Other then that, I don't watch baseball but "my team" is the Mariners and basketball it's just whoever is fun to watch at the time.

Oden had 5 fucking blocks in only 26 minutes last night, once this kid perfects his timing and when to be aggressive, he will be the only guy who can guard D12.

Never said he was a better prospect, but at this point, with all of Oden's injuries and what looks like a really mediocre offensive game I think Randolph has the slight edge. I know fantasy doesn't directly mean good "in real life" but Randolph was in the top 10-15 fantasy performers at the end of last season

Randolph averages more blocks, points, steals and a better FT%. Same amount of boards.

Obviously Randolph would average more points and steals and probably FT% too, Oden is a C, Randolph is a lanky ass PF that can play SF too can't he? They are so different in styles you can't even compare their stats really. Oden isn't even an option on offense his buckets come off second chances and setup dunks.
But I am saying that Oden is getting 15-11.6 in 36 minutes per game adjusted. In his time he is playing a lot of the time in foul trouble, those are solid ass stats especially since he is a 'rookie'. I am saying his future is conditional, it hinges on whether or not he ever becomes a more disciplined defender. But in his per 36 you can see he has shown glimpses of being able to be a dominant big man in the league, probably a 17-13 type player down the road while being a top lockdown defender who you can build a defense around.
Neither of these guys will be a top star, second rate star at most, but Oden is of a dying breed so to speak.

Give me Oden every day if I am the GM of a team, if I am running a fantasy team idgaf because I hate fantasy leagues and analyzing statistics.
