Round 1
1 Philadelphia - Julius Erving SF 6'6'' 200 22 A- C+ C A- C+ A
Post TC: A- C+ C A C+ A
The consensus top pick in the draft. Erving is BBS ready and should become the rookie of the year. Sick inside scorer and defender. He will be the player to build around in Philly.
2 Chicago - Bob McAdoo PF 6'9'' 210 21 B+ C- C B B- A
Post TC: B+ C- C B+ B A
The second best player in the draft. McAdoo should produce right away for Chicago. A very good insider scorer, defender, and rebounder. Chicago finally has a player to build around with towards the future.
3 Utah - Paul Westphal SG 6'4'' 195 21 B- B- B- C+ D+ A
Post TC: B B- C+ B- D A
Westphal should be a good player one day. Right now he's a project who will help Utah when his game is refined. Westphal has the potential to become a very good balanced scorer.
4 San Antonio - James Silas PG 6'1'' 180 23 B+ C C+ B- C- A
Post TC: B+ C C+ B- C- A
Not the best pick, but Silas is a very good inside scorer for a rookie point guard. He should help the Spurs off the bench this year.
5. Sacramento - Don Buse PG 6'4'' 190 22 C+ C+ C A C- A
Post TC: C+ B- C+ A C A
The 2nd best defender in the draft after Julius Erving. Buse is a sick defender for a rookie and should make the all defensive team in the future.
6 Golden State - LaRue Martin C 6'11'' 208 22 B- C- D+ B- B- A
Post TC: B- C- D B- B- B
Martin didn't really impressed his team during training camp. Right now he's a project in the making, but he looks like a bust though.
7.LA Lakers - Dave Twardzik PG 6'1'' 175 21 B- B B- B C- B
Post TC: B- B+ B- B C- B
Twardzik should help LA with his versatile game off the bench.
8 Milwaukee - Mickey Davis SF 6'7'' 195 22 B C+ C B B- B
Post TC: B C+ C+ B+ B- C
Davis shown that he can handle the ball and play some defense. He could very well be better than LaRue Martin when its all said and done.
9 Milwaukee - Henry Bibby PG 6'1'' 185 22 B- C B- B C- B
Post TC: B- C+ B B+ C- B
Another good pick for the Bucks. Bibby already looks good as a rookie and could possibly become the best Point Guard in the draft.
10 NY Knicks - Chris Ford SF 6'5'' 190 23 B- C C+ A- D+ B
Post TC: B C C+ A- D+ A
Ford has the potential to become a good inside scorer and defender. He is a nice piece to build around with in New York.
11 Philadelphia - Bud Stallworth SG 6'5'' 190 22 B B- C C C- B
Post TC: B B C C C- B
Stallworth should become a nice balanced scorer in Philly. The rest of his game needs work though.
12 NY Knicks - John Gianelli C 6'10'' 220 22 C+ C C- A- C+ B
Post TC: C+ C C- A- C+ B
Knicks add another nice piece for the future. Big G should be a very good defender off the bench.
13 Miami - Jim Price PG 6'3'' 195 22 C+ B B B- D+ B
Post TC: C+ A- B- B- D+ C
Nice draft pick for Miami. Jim Price shown he can shoot the ball. He is a nice scoring point guard who can also pass and defend a little.
14 Houston - Steve Hawes C 6'9'' 220 22 B+ C C C+ C+ B
Post TC: A- C C C+ B- B
Hawes is a nice young piece to build with in Houston. He should become a very good scorer off the bench for them.
15 Houston - Ollie Johnson SF 6'6'' 200 23 B C C B+ C+ B
Post TC: B+ C C B C+ C
The youngest OJ on the team. He can score inside but the rest of his game is unclear.
16 Golden State - George Adams SF 6'5'' 210 23 B- C C+ C+ B- B
Post TC: B- C C+ C+ B- A
Adams is another project in this draft. He could become a versatile player one day.
17 Houston - Mike Jackson SF 6'7'' 215 23 B+ C+ C- C B B
Post TC: B+ B- D+ C B A
A nice balanced scorer who has the potential to get better in rebounding and maybe defense. Houston loves wings so they add another one.
18 New York - Claude Terry SF 6'4'' 195 22 B- B- C B- C B
Post TC: B- B C B- C B
Not really a special pick to discuss about. Terry looks like one of those typical B rating wings you see everywhere.
19 San Antonio - Tom Riker C 6'10'' 225 22 B C D B- C B
Post TC: B C D B- C B
Another boring pick. Riker could be a nice inside scorer but that's it.
20 Toronto - Ralph Simpson SG 6'5'' 200 22 B- C+ B- C+ C- B
Post TC: B- B- B- B- D+ B
Simpson has a versatile game for a point guard. He could become a nice steal for them after a couple more years.
21 Utah - Dwight Davis PF 6'8'' 220 22 B C- C- B- C+ B
Post TC: B C- D+ B- B- B
A tweener pick. Davis could become a nice inside scorer.

Post TC: C+ B B A- D B
A steal for the Suns.
23 Golden State - Kevin Porter PG 6'0'' 170 22 C+ C A- C D A
Post TC: C+ C A- C D B
A ball handler/passer at best. Not sure how he will fit in with the Warriors.
24 NY Knicks - Ronald Thomas SF 6'6'' 215 21 B- C C- B+ B- C
Post TC: B- C- C- B+ B- D
An undersized wing who cant shoot but can defend. One of those typical B rating wings again.

Post TC: C+ C+ B B- C- A
Another steal in the 1st round?
26 Minnesota - Bill Chamberlain SF 6'6'' 188 22 B C+ C C+ C B
Post TC: B C+ C C+ C B
Inside scorer at best. The rest of his game is unclear and is unlikely he plays this year.
27 Washington - Mike Barr SG 6'3'' 180 22 B B- C- C+ C- B
Post TC: B+ B- C B- C- C
Another nice scorer in the draft. There has been many B+ inside scorers and Barr is one of them.
28 Portland - Russ Lee SG 6'5'' 185 22 C+ B- C B- C- B
Post TC: C+ B C B C- C
Lee could become a B+/B+ player someday. If so then he could be another late round steal.
29 LA Lakers - Ansley Truitt C 6'9'' 220 22 C+ C- D+ C+ C+ B
Post TC: C+ C- D+ B- C+ B
Nothing special. Truitt is one of those guys who could be out of the league soon.
