Jackson and Acie Law for Vladimir Radmanovic and Raja Bell. Its actually better value then I thought they'd get. Bell is a very good defender and he can shoot 3's. More importantly he doesn't hog the ball. Radmanovic is a solid shooting big man that will get too many minutes in Nellies system because he can shoot. Overall the trade is good because we lose long term salary commitments. Now we have 10 mill in expiring with Bell and Speedy Claxton. Pretty unlikely we use it before it expires but with such a big FA class coming up someone might make a good player available.

Bell is still a solid defender and shooter. If he does play for us, hell fit in well. Guess there is talk that hell have surgery now and sit out. Or ask for a buyout. Id rather try and use his expiring to get something.

If Bell doesnt play the Warriors will need to sign someone to a 10 day. Azubuike is out a couple months probably. Biedrins is out another 10 days or so. Turiaf is out. Watson has swine flu.

Trade Bell to the Raptors, could use a wing defender who plays within himself offensively. Kind of sucks for Jackson, not really much better of a situation in terms of contending. Oh well at least he got out of Golden State which is what he wanted.

An extension he didnt deserve.

How didn't he deserve that contract? I don't watch him but he puts up good numbers and seemed like he was the floor general and leader of your team. Wasn't he also captain at the time of the extension? Nelson just honestly fucked everything up. This team could be so good if they had a coach who knew how to develop young talent.

Hes 31 though and hell be making over 10 mill when hes 34. Hes a solid player, but I think the combination of age and his history shouldve put up some red flags with management.

Id love to trade off Bell and Claxton for something. I guess wed have cap in 2 years if we stay put, but whats the point of that? If we stay put no one will want to come here anyway.

No one will want to play for Nelson anyways, this guy is developing quite the reputation around the league these past few years.
Wish I could say you might as well start over and try and stock up on young talent, but as long as Nelson is there, there is no point.

Nellie has lost his mind. More inconsistent with lineups than Larry Brown was with the Knicks.
Solid value though.
LOL @ demanding a trade then getting traded to the Bobcats

Okur is your only hope, better hope he goes like 5-8 from 3 or something or else you are fucked. Teams kill us on the outside, our rotations are terrible and we give up wide open threes. Looking at your roster no one is going to be able to burn us. You are going to have two scrubs running the point and Jose will probably just have a hay day on the pick and roll with Bosh all game.

Wish I could say you might as well start over and try and stock up on young talent, but as long as Nelson is there, there is no point. We have good young talent. But we need a coach that teaches basics, not some run and gun scheme. We have legit prospects at most positions we just need them to be schooled in fundamentals instead of them trying to score because they know they wont play unless they impress.
