But that's not what I'm talking about. He's getting extra credit for being such a good shooter and being tall. He can also get his shot off easier, but that doesn't make him the best. Dirk isnt good at creating his own shot. But he is good at making it. Umm all Dirk does is create his own shot. Gets the ball in the high post, and the rest of the Mavs watch as he isolates and drives or shoots

Dwight got extra credit for being so tall and jumping so high. He can jump high and its easier for him to block shots, but doesn't make him the DPOY. I'm not saying he is the best defensive player in the league. That's a completely different argument. Midrange shooting is best on actual ability, Dirk is just not as good as Kobe.

True, but its usually a catch and shoot situation because he is so tall. Once he starts dribbling he can get into trouble. Thats why the Warriors won that playoff series 2 years ago. They always attacked when he started to dribble.

I wish the Celtics weren't so goddam old. They need to give Lester Hudson some more minutes. I think he could develop into a pretty good player.

And the Mav's thought it would be a good idea to go big instead of using the type of offense that had played all season.
