Right, I'm going to take this opportunity to tinker with the depth chart and see how Marion fares at PF.

dave's going to love what i got up my sleeve well your future picks are gold in many GMs eyes but I think its unfair if you unload all of these, lose the bet, and fuck over the next GM. I sent you a PM saying just give me my 1st round pick this year and the bet will be washed away. You won't be a pussy for backing out, or a loser this an or that. Just put an end to it and be more polite to everyone in the league. My first round pick shouldn't even be that great of value in the 20's.

If he trades his picks trying to win for the sake of winning or keep his job it's not his responsibility to set up the next GM. Thats not how it works in the NBA or here I dont think. However,if he's making moves solely for the purpose of a stupid bet then he's not doing whats in the best interests of the team which is a huge problem to me. I'm not so sure this bet thing should'nt be just dropped.

Even if you forget the bet, it might make sense for him to deal for some good talent around the league right now and try to be a playoff team. It's not like his firsts are gold, and it's not like he isn't very much in the race for a playoff spot.

1-1 sim for us. SAR played pretty well at SF in the 2 games. Dermarr played nicely off the bench. We took down San Antonio in the first game and lost at Houston by 1 in the second game. Pretty encouraging sim actually in terms of our success the rest of the year.

His core isn't ready yet and he'd be better served dealing off Billups to a team rather than trying to stockpile whatever is left out there as many teams are starting to settle into their positions. Its definitely a sellers market as a lot of teams are trying to win. I'm trying to let him off the hook for making the bet and let him actually build his franchise instead of ruining it because of a silly bet. I maybe stupid for showing such compassion but I am. If he adds a top 10 pick to Butler and Jax and whatever he would get for Billups he would be legit.

Nobody is mistaking that for compassion except you.

Chris needs big men which are hard to come by. Even if he were to mortgage his future, who would he deal for? I mean how many good defensive minded big men are available?

Yea but it would be wise of him to do so and he can actually run his franchise properly instead of running it to survive when he doesn't have to because he came up with 40 last season.

1-1. Beat the grizzlies lost to the heat by 3. Murphy is starting at SF, first game put up 18 and 7. Bonzi had 17 points 8 boards 4 assists and 8 steals.
Tough loss to the heat, in both games we shot poorly, just missed winning this one. Rebraca is a beat, 10 points 16 boards, he is very underrated. Crawford with 17, Nenad 15 and 13. Defense looks better.

Yea but it would be wise of him to do so and he can actually run his franchise properly instead of running it to survive when he doesn't have to because he came up with 40 last season. Lets look at the bad teams, and what big men are available. Jason Jennings should be one of the move coveted big men. 1+ blocks and steals per game is pretty nice. Nesterovic and Jackson are decent as well. Erick Dampier isn't horrible. He might be a 10-8 guy with 30 minutes. Stromile Swift, if he were available, would be an awesome pick up for any team. I also like Nick Collison alot. Jim McIlvaine has 1.4 blocks in limited minutes. Brad Miller, if he isn't too expensive might be decent. Might be better off at PF though. So, the cupboard isn't completely bare, but Id only really give much for Swift or Collison.
