He's actually one of the top point guards this year. 20/7 on 50% shooting. Just playing amazing ball. hes putting up some sick numbers, really surprising. 1.3 spg to with C defense. and he rarely gets torched on defense. it's really similar to marcus taylor.

I think Sarunas might be more gifted offensively than he was with the A shooting. I think Taylor was C+ in defense though. I was looking over the league yesterday talking with Mark and there are plenty of elite teams that have holes in their defense and it doesn't seem to impact them too much but I wonder if thats the case in the playoffs. It seems to me that matchups are so important come playoff time.

0-1 Magic, 83-97. Zo had 24pts, 11rebs, 4asts. Simmons had 18 and 4. Marion had 13pts, 9rebs, 3asts. Boykins had 10 and 10. 1-1, Bulls, 103-55[/u] - 48pt butt-whooping holding the Bulls to 55pts ;D Zo (POTG) had 36pts, 15rebs, 4asts, 2stls, 4blks Marion had 22pts, 12rebs, 6asts, 2stls, 3blks. Boykins had 12pts, 7asts, 4stls. Redd had 9pts, 8rebs, 3asts, 4stls. 2-1 Hawks, 109-100. Zo (POTG) had 46pts, 19rebs, 4asts, 4slts Clark had 21pts, 9rebs, 5asts. Redd had 16pts, 7rebs, 4asts. Boykins had 10pts, 8asts in foul trouble. Marion injured after 5mins? 3-1 Cavs, 106-86. Zo (POTG) had 43pts, 24rebs, 2blks Wright had 21 and 5. Redd had 12pts, 3rebs, 5asts. Clark had 11 and 8. 4-1 Magic, 92-75. Zo had 29pts, 12rebs, 5blks. Redd had 15 and 3. Clark (POTG) had 12pts, 15rebs, 6asts, 4stls Boykins had 12pts, 3rebs, 7asts, 2stls. Ridnour had 11pts, 3rebs, 5asts, 2stls. Fuck what a sim! Zo was a monster, as usual, still leading the league in ppg (34.0) and rpg (13.4) while playing great D (2.5bpg) and passing well (3.4apg). Redd was a little bit sluggish this sim, but Zo was enough firepower. Marion got injured, but will be back for the next sim. In his absence Keon Clark stepped up with some huge games playing insane ball shooting very well. Incidentally, we have 3 players in the top ten for FG% (Zo 53.9% = 1st, Ridnour 51.9% = 3rd, Clark 50.5% = 9th).

1-2.
JO was out for the 2 games we lost, and we beat the Mavs when he was healthy.
He's back now, and so is PJ Brown. Them 2 plus a 6 game home streak should get us back on top.

I think Zo has a shot at MVP even having missed games. His numbers are godly.
Kobe's looking really good right now too.

He'll still have more total rebounds than anyone else in the league, and his totals for blocks and steals will be higher than most of the guys who will be similar to his total points output. Big guys and PGs get the award most often because they produce the highest totals in the most categories usually, and I think even with missed time Zo is ahead of most of the PGs and Cs in the league. I think right now Kobe, Iverson and KG could claim to have better across the board totals than Zo despite him missing time.

time missed kills for season awards though....10 games and you pretty much eliminate yourself. I'd pick Zo if I had a vote. Perhaps Scott can bring back the awards this year. We usually have votes for awards and league activity is high so I think this would be the perfect time to bring it back.

I could do the awards if Spence wants to bring them back.
As for MVP, Zo should win hands down, he's just on another leve.
Also, I know he won't win it, but I think Ben Wallace definitely has to be a candidate. He is just a game-changer.
10.9ppg, 12.4rpg, 3.2apg, 1.6spg, 4.1bpg, 48.1 FG%, only 1.5 TPG.
He's a solid, efficient offensive player, a quality passer for a big man, and he just wreaks havoc on defense. 5.7 steals + blocks combined is nasty, and only topped by Ratliff.

Its been Scott's thing for a long time so I think it would only be right to see if he wants to do it first. If he doesn't it would be great if you could.

Yeah, I didn't mean I wanted to take it away from him or anything, just saying if he doesn't have the time for it, I'm willing to do it.

It does seem like league activity is up a lot, and the lack of activity is usually what killed me doing the awards before. So I'll probably post up the awards ballot tomorrow evening once I get my laptop up and running since that's where I keep everything for it. I usually don't post up the ballot until Day 75 or 80 anyways, so this will work out fine to start it up now.

Leon Smith 1.5bpg over his last 10 games what a great addition to this team.
