Oh yet DJ gets shit for doing what you're proud of, you are a fucking hypocrite. DJ lost 4 years straight when he could have done tremendously better after season 2 but put no effort into winning and did his best to actually try and lose. There is a big difference. I tried to win as much as I could. I traded for Odom and Hughes last season when I didn't have to add them and could have sat on my team and lost more. My team wasn't good but I did all I could to win. BULLSHIT I remember you didn't update your DC for a week because you had finally begun losing like hell and your excuse was that you wanted to see your young guys play.

Martinez, are you proud? How's your sim league pride doing? Can you even look your family in the eye now that you won't follow up 41 wins with a 40-win season? No I can not.. I feel like I should be rooting for the St. John's basketball team or something. My life sucks! Just make a site about them.

Really my team hasn't been great all this season either but I've worked my ass off in the trade market and have made plenty of deals to keep upgrading. Also I've been without Tyson Chandler all season if I would have had him I might be sitting a top of the west.

I need to update my DC to play my young guys.

I think the job Dave has done, with some luck obviously, is just crazy. I mean worst case he wouldve had...
TC Amare West Hughes Nash
That would've been a perennial playoff team. Getting LBJ means hes a perennial Championship contender.

People that don't change their DC when they lose are tankers? I mean, really, where does the argument stop and end. Did Dave have enough talent last year to make the playoffs? Possibly. Is it that much different then what DJ did? Yes, a little. I thought DJ had a ton of talent at the beginning of the last BBS, and he sat on it. But to have a crap team, and sit on losing, I dont think that is such a bad move.

My premier players and key bench guys were playing well. I adjusted to my strengths and was in every game but losing. There wasn't much wiggle room with what I could do in terms of adjusting. I was playing well just not well enough to win. Was I supposed to start Jay Williams over Navarro? Jared Jeffries over Amare? I just wasn't that strong of a team and I did everything I could to win.

Getting LBJ means hes a perennial Championship contender. I really wanted West too. He was a guy I thought who had the best chance to contribute right away. I was very content with landing anywhere in the top 5.

He was my #2 option behind Odom who has proved he was a product of inflation last year being on my team. Like I said I went out and got guys like Hughes and Odom to try and improve but it wasn't enough. Imagine I didn't have them and I had a starting lineup of Navarro, Jiri Welsch, Jared Jeffries, Haslem and Amare with no bench. I could have easily done that.

2-6. My entire team was injured this sim it seems and we are the 8th seed? how the hell did that happen. Wow. We really sucked it up this sim, everyone was going down it seems, not good. But we are the 8th seed? Poor martinez.

Either that or the East is the best we've ever had in BBS. I mean, 7 teams .600 or better? That's unreal. Spence, has there ever been a better conference than this East? The 8th seed is going to win 47 games.

I think the Grizz should've taken the Webber deal, it would've been solid value for Butler and a pick anyways.

Simmons wrote a decent article about C-Webb retiring today.

But I kinda feel like every article about that is taking the same stance, with the unrealized potential angle.

Then again, his career was really defined by that, so what other focus could you take on a C-Webb retirement article.

Webber just makes me think of the one playoff series when Mike Bibby was the best player in the league.

Thinking maybe some quoting in the next thread is what's up for a little bit.
