Gilbert Arenas 6-3 191 Arizona January 6, 1982 Strengths - Amazing quickness. Can get by anyone and get to the basket. Very good finisher at the rim. Streaky shooter from long range, but can be unstoppable some times. Solid ball handler. Weaknesses - While he is an above average ball handler some question is decision making, and he does tend to turn the ball over a lot. Not a very good defender at this point, and is much more interested in improving offensively at this point. Rookie Ratings... B- B- C+ C C A

I was about to say that too, although I don't think it'll be a big problem if he's dropping 30 a night after a few years into the league. Just get a defensive specialist to back him up lol.

Ya, I think lots of BBS guys are worried about inflated ratings, which IMO was do mostly to RCs. With RCs having less impact here I think a B+ B+ B B C guy will be a star.

I'd be very surprised if a player with those ratings was anything less than an All Star.

If VC averages 24/5/4 on a good team with ratings of B+ B+ C C+ C B then Arenas would definitely be an All-Star with ratings of B+ B+ B B C C.

It was more a comment on the B+ B+ B B C guy being a star. I remember A- B+ B- B C guys being scrubs here.

I must say, I lost almost all interest in NBNR because of the ratings.

And there have been a good deal of players with ratings similar or better than B+ B+ B B that are anything but stars, most of which had been roleplayers at best.
I have no qualms with the ratings but to dismiss what I said as "my imagination" is ridiculous.
