Great game 6 Bruins-Habs tonight. As good a hockey game as you'll see. End to end action, lead changes, comebacks, great goals, great saves.....Really good stuff.
Game 7 in Montreal Monday night.

That was a crazy game. Two goals in eleven seconds really set the tone for those last five minutes or so, haha.

An American newspaper wrote in the 50's that the 'H' in their logo stood for 'Habitants' (their logo is a C with an H inside), as in 'Canadien Habitants'. That isn't true though - the 'H' actually stands for 'Hockey', as in 'Club de Hockey Canadien' - the official name of the team.
'Habs' just stuck, I suppose.

Yeah, I've met Canadien fans before that actually always thought the 'H' stood for Habitants. 'Habs' has become so popularized that it confused its own damn fanbase.

The Rangers put their absolute best effort out on the ice tonight and still lost by two.

Eh, they just had some fucking pathetic turnovers and some really lazy plays. The PP goal as the first ended was just ridiculous, and the first goal should never have happened.

my penguins are killing it the only sports team of mine that is doing well. Its really funny how I'm a penguins fan. Everyone on my block was a rangers fan growing up when they were nasty and won the stanley cup in 94. There was this kid named ray who was really good and he played ice hockey and his dad bought him everything and he had a huge driveway so we always used to play at his house. So anytime we played I alway got the shitty stick that was worn down but I liked it bc I could flick the ball or puck really easy but accepting passes was a bitch. I liked Mario he was awesome and I didn't like the rangers because everyone else did. My parents got me this sick Mario Lemuix stick for christmas and a new pair of bauer skates I was the happiest kid ever and I got pretty good and have been a penguins fan ever since.

Gotta' control your stick. Hal Gill, the man on the other end of that high sticking, is 6'7". That's a terrible penalty to take. This is the most dangerous powerplay in the league. If you give them chances they will burn you easily. They just have to much firepower not to. The more talented team is winning this series - that's all.

Should be a great series between the Pens & Flyers.
Advantage goes to Pitt cause they've looked down-right dominant, but Umberger & Briere have been playing out of this world, and if they keep it up & Biron plays well, the Flyers could take it.

Should be an extremely physical series though. People will definitely feel some pain. It'll get quite heated.

That was depressing. I turned it off when the Mets started, came back for the last few minutes of the third period on. Ouch.
