My disappointment stems more from the idea that you get 100 points for making posts, 50 points for making a signature and only 50 points for winning the championship! That seems like pretty lopsided distribution to me. Some jerk off who makes a ton of posts will be rewarded more than someone who posts when necessary and builds a championship team. This is a fair gripe about winning the championship

Schools a killer... I'm done in about 6 weeks so when that comes expect articles, sigs, and post pads galore.

Both of you are jokes. If the league was 29 of you, it would completely suck, so if you're not going to post, fine, but don't complain that others actually make the league interesting.

Yea, it's been hard for me to post pad as it's not my nature.
I'm not a man of many words really but this year I'm trying.
I do believe there should also be more points awarded for making playoffs, winning your conference, winning title etc. achieving team goals.

It isn't a flawed system. it works. Maybe it's frustrating to those that cant use it to their benefit, but it works. Even new guys have come in, had doubts and are now post padding whores. I think the league would be good without the activity based extras, but I think BBS is special because of the board activity.

I know, just wouldnt mind seeing them a little higher. Maybe 20 for playoffs 8 seed and get 5 points each slot higher, 35 points for winning division ,75 for winning your conf,150 for winning title . Just get a little more for having a successful franchise you know. I mean it isnt a big issue for me or nothing but we are here for the competition first and foremost right?

I'm a little disappointed in being chastised for my "lack of posting"
I did a pre-season article and have posted on every game thread.
Just because I don't get involved in the Martinez/Pig/Kruban saga doesn't mean that I'm any less important than those with 1500+ posts who annoy many GMs.
I'm a big fan of this league and love how often everyone is on the boards checking in/how active the trade circuit is.

Re read this thread. I think before you posted the majority of comments about you were positive. I think knowingly or not you kinda took a shot at the BBS system and people jumped on you. Youve done a great job, and I love that youve become someone who really enjoys the league. Youve earned respect, and people want you here.

Guys like Aar, Scott, and Keelty don't post, but I don't consider them inactive.

Most of these guys do a good job of taking care of their teams though. Like Aar posts in the sim threads every time, updates his DC, makes trades and that's about it. As long as these guys are posting about that shit, that's good enough. Yeah, same with Keelty. They're fine. It's the others who bring the league down, because they don't do anything with their team that anyone else couldn't do.

Everyone should re-read my posts - this isn't about me, it's about the reward system being lopsided in my opinion.
If everyone's happy with it, then fine, what more can I say?

If you can stay in this league without being uber active, it means you're a good GM. I like how things are set up. I understand why some people think it is unfair in some respects, but IMO the good outweighs the bad.

I don't see how the reward system can be lopsided?
I work from 9 AM(i'm out my house by 7:00AM) to 5:00PM(don't get home till 6:30PM) Monday thru Friday and I got school Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:40 to 10:30PM and Fridays from 6 to 7:30 PM.
And I have what like the 5th most posts in the league and I'm probaby among the busiest. Yeah, I'm lucky enough to get away with using the internet at work.. but not post articles.
It take 5 mins to post a decent article, no big deal or just use the cheap way and do the Will's Power Rankings thing like Jah does.
