Seahawks cut Shaun Alexander today.
He really deteriorated after his MVP season, it was crazy how mediocre he became.

He had the best line in football when he was dominant. It won't surprise me if he signs with NE or Indy and become a great backup RB and everyone talks him up again.

yea, like Jordan said...I'd bet that the signs on with a big time team (He's mentioned both NE and Indy) and becomes a big time part to a playoff run. He'll be a big part to some team this coming season.

He's terrible. He can't break a tackle and he's really not quick at all. He doesn't look like he has any legs anymore. I think he's done.

After his MVP season he got hurt and was never the same. Sucks for him.

I can see him coming back on a championship contending team and contributing a lot.

He's washed up.
Or he's a dog.
I'm betting washed up though.

they got julius jones for a reason. alexander was once great but i think his years in the league have caught up to him. with that being said he can still be valuable to a team that has a young stud RB as a mentor, say whoever drafts McFadden. Maybe even play a down or two.

Alexander reminds me of old Falcon great RB Anderson who was also super till he had some leg injury.

Alexander will win MVP again. Yea, right around the time Reggie Bush will. Should be a close contest.
