Projected #6. Have yet to ever have any luck in ANY draft. I don't expect this season to be any different! #8-#13 pick here I COME! Just fyi...The worst the projected pick can be is 9th overall. So at least you know that you have a top 9 pick locked up.

Only the top 3 is lotto. Therefor you can't drop more than 3 spots.

is that same concept for jumping? Meaning best I can do is #2? Or do I have a shot at #1 as well?

The top 3 is lotto.
Each team gets a certain number of lotto balls. The projected #1 gets the most...The projected #13 gets the least. They then pick out lotto balls for #1, #2 and #3. Any one of the 13 teams could end up in these spots. From then on it just goes in projected order. So at the most 3 teams can jump above you. #13 could jump all the way to #1 though.

JAH, since you seem to know a lot about it, what is the tiebreaker for draft order? LA and I are tied with 22 wins. We have the same conference record it seems, and we split H2H. Does it go to home record?

Does it go to home record? In the event that teams finish with the same record, each tied team receives the average of the total number of combinations for the positions that they occupy. In 2007, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Portland Trail Blazers tied for the sixth worst record. The average of the 6th and 7th positions in the lottery was taken, resulting in each team getting 53 combinations (the average of 63 and 43). Should the average number not be an integer, a coin flip is then used to determine which team or teams receive the extra combination(s). The result of the coin flip is also used to determine who receives the earlier pick in the event that neither of the tied teams wins one of the first three picks via the lottery. I don't know how BBS works...

They split the number of lotto balls.
--lets say #6 and #7 tie. Normally #6 would get 20 lotto balls and team #7 would get 30 lotto balls. They would now each get 25 (I made up the numbers...you get the point though)
--Now after the lotto is set and neither is top 3 they will flip a coin to see who picks first.

Cool. All I want is top-3 anyway, so that 12-51 finish will help.

YEEE, lost 12 straight, 18 of 19, and tied Nanz for the second projected spot. That's what I'm talking about. Andy, I hope I made you proud this season. I was 10-9 at one time, and went 12-51 the rest of the way. You have learned well.
