Something pretty cool is that 2 guys in my starting lineup were 2nd round picks and they big time contributors to my first place team.
Luther Head and Jarvis Varnado.
I really like this team we're starting to shape up and we have some flexibility to make some moves.

2-1 sim this time. much better than last sim. all 3 teams are playoff teams right now. beat 2 of them and barely lost to the other.

I think Ive done a pretty good job of not only making 2nd rounders valuable but also keep ratings low enough that players without studly ratings can start on good teams. |

3-1 today, 10-6 overall, 4th in the EAST? yikes, go figure.
Really been getting great performances out of Gooden/Collins/Rondo lately, just doing great things offensively.
Surprisingly our defense is solid too....2nd in Opp 3pt%, and 4th in Opp fg% overall. Particularly surprising since we don't block a lot of shots at all.

Still cant believe someone like Gooden is leading your team to wins. He's just a real efficient offensive player, just produces numbers. I wasn't sure how we'd do this year. Obviously, if I had my pick, the approach would be totally different. But we won 35+ games last year with a roster about the same as this one, talent wise. I'd say that the current roster probably is slightly better. Collins was the key signing, I think. Like Gooden, a guy who consistently outperforms his ratings. And Rondo's developed a bit more this season, too. |

My team is shooting nasty percentages. Most of my starting 5 is 50% or higher.
