At about 42 minutes they start talking about 911.

Its pretty interesting. I'm not sure I believe everything but the US government is pretty sketchy. It kinda makes you not want to find out the truth.

This might have been the movie I saw in a class this past semester. It made me FURIOUS. Is this the conspiracy theory movie?

Well, the teacher I had was very anti-establishment, borderline anti-America. So he bought into EVERYTHING in the movie (the 9/11 stuff, the government stuff, etc) and I just got so furious at the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

I mean I'm not saying everything they say is true, but it makes for interesting viewing.

Oh yeah no doubt, very interesting. But I don't buy it at all.

Because I don't think that the government would put the country (and individual families) through that type of pain and torture just for the benefit of going into war without much of a fight from the public. It's just not in my realm of thinking to believe that anyone could be that cold or heartless and run the US. Maybe that's naive, but it's my opinion. Plus, I think that there are major flaws. The flight that went down in Pennsylvania.. doesn't the movie say something like it was actually re-routed to some other airport and landed safely? And the crater in the ground was made from something very much different than a plane? I mean, there is audio footage of the people on that plane saying goodbye to their wives, and then that group of adults rushing the plane. "Let's roll". No way, I don't believe that it's fake.

So you think that the terrorists planted bombs in the WTC to blow the building up? I mean its pretty obvious the buildings didn't drop because of the impact of the planes. Also, I thought it was interesting that 5 or 6 of the terrorists named for the attack are actually alive, and that the government has never updated or changed the list of terrorists. Also the part about the pentagon was interesting as well. All video of the actual impact of the plane was confiscated. And the reports stated that the jet fuel was so hot it melted and destroyed most of the plane but yet they were able to get fingerprints and were able to identify the passengers. Obviously Im not saying anything they are saying is true in this movie, Im just talking about it and going over what they said happened.

It was a really interesting movie. But I think it's very easy to spin pretty much anything, honestly. And I think a lot of that can be disproved, or at least rationally countered by some other facts that I'm not aware of.

I mean the movie has been blasted by lots of people for being one sided. But it kinda makes you either completely scared of our government or want to find out more about these issues.

It sounds naive the way I say "other facts that I'm not aware of", but that just plays into the fact that I won't believe it regardless, you know? If that makes me naive, well, so be it. I think it'd be kind of naive if I was to believe it blindly anyway.
Not saying you said any of that about me at all (you clearly didn't), I'm just defending myself against a counter-argument before someone is able to make it.

This movie talks about putting chips in people right? Something like that? To track everything about them?

I mean lots of parts of this, and other big time US events have seen suspicions to me. Id say another really intriguing part of this film was many US officials saying they never expected to have to deal with a terrorist attack of this kind. The high jacking of planes and crashing into buildings. But then there was a report written like 6 years earlier that had essentially the whole WTC bombing mapped out.

Ill watch it all eventually.

Assuming it's in the movie (solid chance that it's not in the movie, and my professor just discussed it afterwards) that part is WEIRD. Weirder to hear than the 9/11 stuff for me, just because I won't agree with the 9/11 conspiracy stuff no matter what. That chip stuff.. wow.
