So pretty much, I have to hope I land some future Messiah off the draft otherwise this is a 5 Year Rebuilding thing?

So pretty much, I have to hope I land some future Messiah off the draft otherwise this is a 5 Year Rebuilding thing? No. Be realistic with your trades. Try to compile seconds. You'll have a top pick this year. Use it well. Make good FA signings. It'll take three years max.

I can't make a good FA signing, I have Marbury locked up for 4 Years, and Tyrus locked up for 5 Years taking up 30 Mill of my Cap each year and they both aren't very good.
I don't understand the logic of compiling seconds unless people actually value seconds.

OK, well, try your best to deal everyone you have for expirings since none make sense for your direction right now. Then, go take a look at the number of guys drafted in the second round that play big roles in this league. Can't hurt.

If he develops he can be. Needs more of an outside game though to compliment his inside game.
TT isn't that great. He is a PF who can't rebound which is always a problem. He doesn't have the outside game to play the 3.

Better yet, ask for advice and shoot down everything you get instead of making effort to get anything done.

Also you don't have a 5 year time period to rebuild. Check the rules on the contract year

I don't think that will be a problem, I just think it will be 5 years before I can build a successful team that could compete for the Championship.

Buy out Marbury? Awful advice. How do you think he can buyout Marbs when he's at 77 million for his team salary?
The only thing you can really do, youngsta, is try and deal your guys for partial expirings, or for shorter contracts. Get creative. Nothing is handed to you in this league.

He can and should do it next season. If he puts himself at or below 55 mil in cap next season, he can rid himself of Marbury's deal which is absolutely essential for his rebuild. I thought that was really good advice from Nanz.

I was responding to Skillz, who said buyout Marbury, not Nanz. Buying out Marbury now (which was implied) would have put him way over the HC, which is what I said.

It looks like Nanz alluded to buying out Marbury as well, but Skillz actually said "buyout Marbury" which is who I was responding to.
