I like Joe Smith. Utilized correctly he can still put up good numbers I think.

Jax isn't overrated. He has bad TOs, but he does everything else really, really well. Way off there. Good passer, great defense (do you not value A- d and 2 spg?), excellent %s . Way off there.

He is a #1 option and he puts up 17ppg and his turnovers are horrid. That doesn't translate to wins. His percentages are pretty good but I don't think 2spg is anything to get overly excited about. Not saying thats a bad thing but its not great many good players get 2spg if you want something to stand you you're looking at 2.5 or better. I think Jackson is more of a #3 option and if he were I think we'd see 12-13ppg which isn't that great.

I disagree with you there as well, but for reasons other than his current performance.

I don't think Jackson is in the right role, but he needs to be the primary scorer in Memphis. But that doesn't make him overrated.

But that's a lot different than being underrated. Whatever. He made the allstar game so I should probably stfu, haha.

yeah he plays on the Lakers SG Ricky Davis Davis is a #2 option putting up same ppg as Jackson #1 option and Davis is on a winning franchise. because he's on a winning franchise he gets the nod? He makes more than Jackson, get's less steals, less %, and gets the same amount of turnovers basically, but just because he's on a winning team he gets the nod...brilliant thinking.

Ricky Davis 35.4 16.3 6.7 2.8 1.6 0.2 3.4 .458 .768 .410 $8,738,333 $9,612,166 $10,486,000 $11,359,833 $12,233,666 $13,107,500
Stephen Jackson 35.8 17.8 5.4 3.7 2.1 0.2 3.7 .464 .841 .445 $5,800,000 $6,400,000 $7,000,000 $7,600,000
based on salaries... Davis is way overratde.

He's overpaid but not necessarily overrated. How much a player gets paid is one GMs view of their worth, whether a player is overrated or not depends on a lot more than that.
Though I don't think SJax is overrated, I don't think he's rated very highly by the majority of the league's GMs, we can all see his turnovers.
I'd argue a more fitting candidate would be Desmond Mason, even though I love him to death, he hasn't shown the ability to produce on a winning team. We'll see if that changes with Indy.
I'd also say that for the amount of hype I've given him compared with his performance, RJ is pretty overrated too.

I think this is where you would tell me WAAAAAAHHHHHHH CRY BABY but instead of being so immature I'll restate my thinking behind things saying that Ricky Davis is #2 option while Stephen Jackson is #1. Davis also has average ratings and some would say he over produces with those ratings. Jackson has pretty high ratings and he is looked at to be the franchise guy on the grizzlies but doesn't produce like one.

And no David, I don't cry. I just give facts, real facts, unlike you who come up with complete bullshit. For the amount of money Davis is paid, I think he's much more overrated than SJax, as most people will agree.

Ricky Davis got paid through a last chance offer so its not like Hernando offered him that money but rather gave him that money to avoid free agency. So he might be over paid but not over valued.

"So he might be overpaid but not over valued." So by that statement alone SJax shouldn't even be on this list, because SJax is extremely undervalued.

He is your #1 option, you kept him over Ron Artest, how would you even claim you don't over value him?
