I mean I knew you could change team names, since Ashes is the Brooklyn Nets in UOSL. But its important to change over the conferences too.

How about the team's picks? So now JB has no picks at all for the next 20 years?

what's that supposed to mean? I think the 4 people who voted No are all out West. It's just not necessary to me. As I posted in another thread this is nothing new. Look at the current NBA. Last yr the West was so much stronger top to bottom than the East there was talk of different playoff format where teams with best records are in playoffs irregardless of conference. There's bitching now about SD getting into playoffs instead of NE in NFL. Thats just the way it works out. No system or lineup is perfect. A couple bad drafts in East or great drafts or FA signings in the West, PD swings etc and you can be right back here in 2/3 years. It's just overeaction to me. It's cyclical like everything. I dont really care though,I'm not adamant against it just think it's a kneejerk reaction. Whatever eh.

I could manually edit, but in this case team records stay with each squad as well. I'm pretty sure you have to trade every player back and forth from each team if they are switching conferences. In Global I moved from one conference to another (the weaker one), but I still played the same schedule I had when I was in the harder conference (playing only 2 games against opponents who were supposedly in my conference). It sucks, but if you just edit the cap to some ridiculous number you can do it fairly quickly.

I dont really care though,I'm not adamant against it just think it's a kneejerk reaction. Whatever eh. I don't think it makes any sense to compare a simulation league to real life. Yes in BBS we strive to be as realistic as possible, but there are so many more factors involved in real-life compared to BBS that it isn't funny. First off, in the NBA they don't trade as much as they do here, and teams certainly don't trade all their picks for the next 10 seasons. It's not like in BBS you can draft a Monta Ellis, Gilbert Arenas, etc in the 2nd round of a draft and have an absolute stud on your team and "get lucky." I don't understand what the "cycle" is? The West has never truly been dominant over the East in this version of BBS, ever. There was a time when they West was very good when Krupinski and Hernando were here, yes, but it was never to the point where the East was as bad as the West now is. I don't see how anyone can object to this... why do people object to change? Seriously? Then it's the same people who complain that the league is boring and quit. Change as scary as it is people, IS GOOD. I've been interested more than ever now with BBS because we're doing new things... and there is nothing unrealistic about having Play take over the Kings and move them to Las Vegas considering the Maloof brothers want to do that same exact thing. Seriously, there are zero negatives to this. Skillz and Play aren't even the best the East has to offer so for all we know this change does nothing.. but at least it "shakes" things up and for a league in my eyes that was getting dull and boring.. this makes things exciting again.
