The Steelers don't really blitz a bunch of guys. They never really run any 'jailhouse' biltzes. Instead, the zone defense is used to confuse the QB and get pressure on the QB while only bringing four or five. Occasionally, sure, the Steelers will send the house, but that is rare. This allows them to be a little more creative in coverage. Troy Polamalu makes it hard for any offense to operate normally.
Also, this team would be pretty bad without Big Ben. He's one of the most clutch QB's of his generation and is just a winner of a player. The talk that the Steelers won the Super Bowl 'in spite' of Big Ben is ridiculous. Big Ben is the reason that team made it to the Super Bowl in the first place. He was absolutely on fire in the first three rounds and simply just had a poor game in the SB. The Steelers opened up their offense in the playoffs that season and it catapulted them to a SB victory.
Ben makes this team tick. I'm not sure how he still has any doubters. He's tough as hell and makes plays in the 4th quarter when he absolutely needs to do so. He drove 92 yards against the vaunted Baltimore defense in the 4th quarter on the road with the division at stake. I mean, this dude has more wins than any QB EVER in his first five seasons. Not a believer? Weird.
Also, this SB will have good ratings. The Steelers are a solid draw and the Cardinals carry a lot of intrigue. I think the NFL is probably pretty happy with this match-up. Anything with the Steelers draws well.

Anything with the Steelers draws well? LMAO where in Pittsburgh? HAHA The Steelers are traditionally one of the highest drawing teams in the NFL. Super Bowl XL was the 2nd highest watched TV event ever at the time (second to only M*A*S*H) - do you really think everyone wanted to see the damn Seahawks? Before that, the largest drawing show was the Steelers/Cowboys in Super Bowl XXX. The Steelers/Ravens AFC Championship Game was the highest draw of the season. So yeah, the Steelers draw really well.

Anything with the Steelers draws well. It's their organization and their defense. They've been doing the same thing so long and they're good at it. Ben didnt just have a bad game it was terrible. his line from that SB...9 comp,21att, 123yds, 0 Td's, 2 ints Thats terrible. He had a great yr last yr but looking at his career stats overall they are'nt great. He's a solid QB but I think Warner's better even at this stage honestly. Main reason I'm not much on Ben is he's a gambler ala Farve,Romo. Those type QB's make some great throws but they'll lose some games for you too. I'd rather have a Brady,Aikman type. Take care of the ball and dont beat yourself. Neil O'Donnell had pretty good success there too. As did Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox. It's their system.

lol I swear some of the things Greg says makes me doubt he has any football knowledge what-so-ever....
Neil O'Donnel, Tommy "XFL MVP" Maddox, and Kordell Stewart being associated with the word "success?" Really? LOL
but then I remember your a Dallas Cowboys fan so your lack of knowledge is expected.

Umm,might wanna look up stats before you shoot off your mouth doofus. O'Donnell had a winning record 4 of 5 yrs he was starting QB, got to 2 conf champ games and one SB they lost. Maddox got them into playoffs as did Mike fucking Tomzack. Stewart got them to 2 conf champ games. But thank you for helping make my point about the quality of QB's they had while still being good teams. It's the system like I said brainiac. If you had better reading comprehension you'd see that. Trent Dilfer won a Superbowl so you mean to tell me he's one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game? LOL How about you take a look at stats. Yeah, I remember that Superbowl game that O'donnel took them too.. he was the reason they lost LOL throwing 2 INTs and they shipped him out the next season to the Bengals because he was god awful. Take a look at stats.. Maddox, Stewart, and O'Donnel benefited from great defensive teams and a great running game, remember "The Bus"? If you took at their individual stats neither of those 3 had a QB rating above 80... Kordell Stewart's "best" season he threw like 20INTs or something like that. O'Donnel was probably the most "solid" of the 3, but again he benefitted from a great running game and defense.

Reason they didn't win any Super Bowl's with those teams? THE QB. Ben comes and he has been to 2 Super Bowl's in 5 seasons now.
Ben is not at all a product of the system. He's the complete opposite of a system QB actually.

Marty, Neil actually banked a huge contract with the Jets after blowing the Super Bowl. He sucked horribly.
And Kordell did have about two good seasons, but he just choked big time in the playoffs.

yeah you're right I forgot he went to the Jets than Bengals... he was awful on the Jets though..
what two good seasons did Kordell have? the one where he threw for 3,000 yards and 17 INTs lol and a QB rating of like 60 or the one season he finally achieved a QB rating of 80! yee

They all were mediocre but the Steelers were still winning. Shit, try reading what I said. Ben is better than all 3 I agree, never said he was'nt. I dont think he's as good as he looks on Pitt though is my whole goddamn point because they've won wim much less. If Manning is on Pittsburgh,or Brady they have more than 1 SB win I think. Ben's good but he's not a upper tier QB to me. He's a good QB. It's all subjective but I just think he's overated. Comprende?

Wait, so are you trying to say that the Steeler's success is based off of me being an idiot? Or am I just an idiot in general?
If i'm an idiot in general, does it mean I'm generally an idiot or just sometimes?

I meant stupid idiot,generally speaking.
Their success may indeed be related to your idocy, that's yet to be determined.

If I'm an idiot and I just corrected you, does that make you a moron? Or is a moron the same as an idiot? Or is a moron smarter than an idiot? Would you be mentally retarded? Boy, I'm confused.

Exactly, you're confused.
Now put the bucket back on your head and go back and stand in the corner.

Take a metal one, put it in the corner. Pour concrete in it, then stand on your head with your head in the bucket. That will help clear things up for you.

When you say pour concrete, do I mix it or do I just pour the concrete without mixing? Eyes opened or closed? Is it possible to do that? I don't think I'm flexible enough. Can I get someone to help me or is that considered cheating? What if it doesn't clear things up for me and I get stuck? Do I call for help Or dial 911?
