4-5, we were injury free the first half but they are hitting us now.

Everyone is playing pretty poorly at the moment. It's nice to say we went 6-2 but i was unimpressed.

6-3, althought the losses tell the story really.
We're one of the best scoring teams in the league, and we only score 88 on the Celtics and 78 on the Pacers? UGLY losses.
Shot less than 30% from the field against Indy, and only had 14 FT attempts against Boston. We should've beat the Rockets too, but they dominated in the 4th.
Need to check the DC and see whats going on. Hopefully I can get to 55 wins, but I doubt it since we have a tough last schedule and a lot of away games.

5-3. Considering the BRUTAL schedule we faced, the way we've played recently, and the fact that all three losses were by slim margins, that's a great sim for us.

76ers 88 Pacers 83 - Played great D but sucked it up on offense. Did have 18 steals though.
Pacers 110 76ers 101 - Aminu had 25/7.
Trailblazers 114 Pacers 109 - Tough road loss against a good team. Walker had 23/13 and 6 blocks, 12 steals & 13 blocks as a team.
Pacers 96 Cavaliers 78 - Very impressive win. Held them to under 30% shooting, Roe had 24/7, Ibaka had 15pts, 16rbs, & 8 blocks, 19 team blocks.
Pistons 110 Pacers 104 - Tough home loss. Roe had 30/11 and 3 blocks, Elliot had 18/7/14, Walker had 5 blocks, Orton had 6 blocks. 16 team blocks.
Pacers 107 Magic 98 - Another very impressive win against a great team. Roe had 26/9 and 2 blocks, Walker had 21/14/5 and 4 blocks.
Pacers 113 Spurs 104 - Roe had 27/11, Walker had 7 blocks.
Pacers 115 Pistons 106 - Nice road win. Roe had 23/14, Ibaka had 19pts, 9rbs, & 4 blocks, Walker had 17/12 and 7 blocks.
Quality sim overall. Our last sim is easier.

We started off 0-3. We play the Hawks for the 3rd time since trading Thabeet. We beat them making this our 3rd win since that trade. All of these wins have come against the Hawks. We then proceed to beat the Mavs Heat Pistons and Spurs

Go figure...the first sim I decide to play a small lineup with Iggy at SF and Thaddeus at PF, Iggy gets hurt in the middle of my first game so instead of running a normal lineup with Thaddeus at SF...I run a lineup with Thaddeus at PF and Nick Harris at SF. Just how my luck runs this year with injuries lol. Either way, the Iggy injury wouldn't have made a huge difference in terms of me reaching 40. Don't even have a shot after this sim. Oh well, probably still try and put together some sort of twist to the lineup to see if Monta or Jennings can't go off in a couple games.

This post is why Scott should be back in the league at some point. Honestly, I was very against him coming back early in the season when everyone was jumping on the bandwagon of "yeah, Scott definitely deserves to be brought back". My thoughts at the time were great guy but incredibly inactive, even if the inactivity comes with reasons. But, after seeing guys like CF and JB just bitch out and leave without saying anything, it's refreshing to see someone still trying things out even though he is gone. |
