I did a couple of test sims, and it seems as though things look good. The stars look nice, and the role players are similar. Lots of very good shooters that do nothing else. Some very good defender, that do nothing else. PG ratings seem low overall. IDK, I did it pretty quick, but I think they came out good.

Generally I think the ratings are excellent. However, one or two players jump out as being a bit off... Richard Hamilton SG 22 6'6'' 185 C B C C+ D+ A Hamilton isn't just a jump shooter. Even when he entered the league, he was capable of attacking the basket. These ratings wreak of Kyle Kover, and Hamilton is a lot better than that. Paul Pierce SF 23 6'7'' 220 B B C C+ C A Pierce was an excellent defender back in the day, averaging 2.1spg and 0.9bpg in 1999/2000. I'm a bit worried that one or two of the point guards are going to go mental and average like 21/6/10. I won't name names, since I own a high pick in the creation draft

I like that Kidd, GP are both gonna be sick. It'll even more show the drastic difference between an elite PG, and the rest.

Based on ratings though, I can see Kidd averaging some monstrous numbers. He's one of my all-time favourite players, so I don't really mind, I just worry about the realism of Jason Kidd being an elite scorer.
Maybe the ratings are misleading though.
Vince Carter seems a little screwed by the ratings. I know he's a weak defender, but back in 2000 (when he averaged 27.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 3.9apg, 1.5spg and 1.1bpg) I remember people were divided over who was better: Kobe Bryant or Vince Carter. I think the ratings should reflect that a bit more. As it stands, there's no contest...
Vince Carter SG 23 6'7'' 215 B+ B+ C C+ C B Kobe Bryant SG 22 6'7'' 210 A- B+ C+ A- C B
Also, Carter is 6'6".
I really love the file as a whole though, so hopefully these are constructive criticisms.

AK47 didn't start playing for Utah until 2001/02, although they held his rights since the 1999 draft.

I'm sure if someone uses him as a first option, hell get near 25, but thats fine. I mean I want to strive for realism, but I also want things to be interesting. Ill change VCs height, but I hate VC as a defender now, so I think that has to be accounted for.

If Carter has C+ defense then just make sure he gets his 1.5spg and 1.1bpg I just think he looks far too pedestrian with these ratings. Like I said, he put up sick numbers around 2000/01, but with these ratings he might slip into the 2nd round, which seems a bit crazy.

So I am assuming the same with Manu as well? Sure. FA sucks for the first couple years. These guys will be awesome.

Looks good, Bryant will probably go #1. I'd take Tim Duncan for sure. We'll see. Kobe was ungodly in the first BBS, and cuz of him, many teams won championships. I see the same thing happening here. However Duncan is pretty sexy and he probably do the same. But if I had #1, it's Kobe.
