This year's FBB class features a lot of mature talent who still have upside and will be able to contribute right away.
1) Alan Maddux SF 6'9'' 229 20 B B+ C+ C C- B
Alan Maddux is an explosive offensive player who is young and build for the pro game.
He is ready to start right away and will only get better.
He is an excellent three point shooter and loves to slash to the basket using his incredible speed for his size. He runs the floor like a gazelle and is always in attack mode on offense.
Maddux really needs to work on his defense and especially his rebounding. He has small forward size, but a shooting guard's game.
Look for Maddux to go in the top-10, possibly top-5 of this draft with his interesting blend of talent.
2) Kenny Irish SF 6'6'' 245 23 C+ C B- C+ C+ A
Kenny Irish is an exceptionally well-rounded talent who could have been an exceptional power forward if he was two inches taller.
Irish plays big for a small forward and loves to use his strength to push smaller players around.
He played power forward on the collegiate level and hones his incredible passing skills. The offense was run entirely through him.
If Irish wasn't so slow, he could have been a point guard due to his great passing and solid handling abilities.
He is a great rebounder who gives it his all on the boards, but his biggest weakness is his offensive game, which he has little to speak of.
He started playing basketball at a late age and scouts believe he has really nice upside.
3) Thomas Foster C 6'10'' 273 23 B+ D+ D+ B+ C+ C
Foster is already an absolute stud.
One of the most cerebral players in college basketball history who reminds many of Tyler Hansbrough.
Foster attacks players inside and is a beast on defense - he doesn't let opposing players anywhere near the basket using his strength and on the off chance they get there, he swats their shots away.
Foster is a solid, but not spectacular rebounder, is good with the ball in his hands and is average when shooting from inside the arc. He won't even bother taking three-point shots and doesn't really have to.
Whoever drafts Foster will have a starter from day one and for a long time to come. If he has any more upside, he could be an all-star.
4) LaDon Wachter PG 6'2'' 178 22 C B+ C+ B+ D+ A
They call Wachter "the wristwatch" because he's always on opposing players. He doesn't give anyone room to breathe and could one day be on an all-defensive team.
His offensive game is solid, but he needs a lot of work with his ball handling. He's quite fast and is a solid passer, but he needs to be a more assertive floor leader. His lack of pure point skills may relegate him to the bench.
He's an excellent shooter, but doesn't have a lot of slashing abilities.
5) Trey Benson C 6'11'' 263 22 B C C C+ B- A
Benson is another player in the mold of Foster, bust not quite as good defensively. Benson is still quite raw for his size and went to a mid-major program.
Benson is a great team player, he does everything well. He's a decent defender, a good ball-handler and passer and is a solid shooter from inside three-point range and from the free throw line.
Benson will likely eventually be a double-digit rebounder.
For a player with his skill-set to have "A" potential according to scouts is incredible, but there are many questions about him playing for a lesser program.
