Dear CJ,
Pitt beat WVU twice this season. WVU beat Pitt once this season. The first two games weren't really close. Last I checked, 2 is greater than 1 (not sure if they touch on such tough math at WVU).
Pitt has won 7 of the last 9 games between the two teams. The series has been fairly one-sided. Even a drunk hillbilly catches a bone from time to time.
Pitt will still be a #1 seed in the tournament that truly counts. WVU, however, will snuggle in at a 6 or 7 seed. They'll get a nice difficult first-round game while Pitt romps some scrubby team. Pitt is, and always will be, a better basketball team.
Pitt football is still better than WVU football despite Pat White leading the 'glory years'. That must suck, also.
And in the end, Morgantown is still Morgantown.

You guys did win the first two games but winning in the BE tourney is at least equal to winning both of those games.

We have had by far better tournament success than you guys despite this.
Pitt will still get a 1 seed but they got exposed in some ways last night. Take Blair out of the game and you guys are very beatable. If we continue to win we will be at least a 6 seed probably higher (we were the top 5 seed 2 weeks ago before cincy loss). Right now we will be a 6 though.
As for Pitt always being better didn't you just admit last night we will be better next year?
Saying Pitt football is better is embarrassing. You guys haven't won more games in a season since I'm guessing Rich's first season. I know you haven't for at least 7 years. Having one nine win season and beating us does not make you better. Winning 2 BCS Bowl games is more of an accomplishment than Pitt has had in 25 years so I don't know what glory years you are refering to. The 1930's when you guys have about 5 'championships'.
Morgantown is a shit hole, but Pittsburgh is by far the worst big city I have ever been to. It sucks and I would much rather be in Morgantown.

We walked in to Morgantown and easily won. Pitt played poorly. Blair obviously isn't very easy to take out of the game, but it does happen from time to time.
