14. Portland - Abdul Denton PG 6'3'' 205 22 C+ B B- B- C A
Abdul Denton PG 22 6'3'' 205 B- B B+ B C B
No one expected to see Denton have the best TC out of all the PGs in this draft. Is he the savior of Portland? No. He definitely keeps things from getting much worse.
Grade: A
15. LA Clippers - Darius Hamilton SF 6'9'' 230 19 B C+ A- C- C- A
Darius Hamilton SF 19 6'9'' 230 B C+ A- C C- A
Hamilton is a great long term prospect for Galo. He can allow him to develop while the he tries to win without his picks. Galo has this team in one of its best positions in a long time. Hamilton wasn't the pick out there for the Clippers. He also wasn't the best prospect left.
Grade: B
16. Chicago - Brynn Marshall SF 6'8'' 225 22 C B B C+ B- A
Brynn Marshall SF 22 6'8'' 225 C B+ B B- B- B
Marshall already looks great after one TC and will be a great piece next to Alvarez. The Bulls already have two great all around guys to build around.
Grade: A
17. San Antonio - David Abernathy PG 6'2'' 175 22 C+ B B C+ D A
David Abernathy PG 22 6'2'' 175 C+ A- B B- D+ B
Allstar needed to add another PG and did so with this pick. I really doubt Abernathy becomes an elite PG, but he will be good enough to win with (kind of like Allstars team once every 4 years).
Grade: A
18. Milwaukee - Eric Stoner PF 6'11'' 245 24 A- C C C+ C+ B
Eric Stoner PF 24 6'11'' 245 B+ C C B C+ B
Stoner looked to be a great bench scorer from day 1. The rest of his game was his big question. After a good TC for his defense, Stoner looks like he can be a contributor on a consistent basis for a long time.
Grade: B
19. Milwaukee - Arika Chiba C 7'2'' 230 20 C D B- A- C+ B
Araki Chiba C 20 7'2'' 230 C+ D B- A- B- C
A shot blocker that has handles made Chiba a very intruiging prospect to reach for. He definitely was not one of the top 20 prospects in this draft, but after his TC and preseason he is worth it.
Grade: B
20. New York - Thomas Foster C 6'10'' 273 23 B+ D+ D+ B+ C+ C
Thomas Foster C 23 6'10'' 273 A- D+ D B+ C+ C
After TC it looks like Foster may have been the better pick over Stoner. Foster will be a good player to have off the bench or as a fifth starter until outlawz can put together a group of shot blockers.
Grade: B
21. New York - George Douglas C 6'11'' 241 21 C+ C- C- B+ C+ B
George Douglas C 21 6'11'' 241 C+ C- C- A- C+ B
Taking two bigs here was something that everyone could see outlawz possibly doing. He didn't let us down. Douglas was a bit of a reach on draft day, but he may end up being a very serviceable backup.
Grade: B
22. Houston - Anthony Swann SG 6'5'' 190 21 C+ B C- A- C- A
Anthony Swann SG 21 6'5'' 190 C+ B+ C- A- C- C
Greg doesn't gamble much. He also loves players with good defense. This pick was a match made in heaven.
Grade: B
23. Chicago - Cameron Williams SG 6'4'' 202 22 C+ B C B C A
Cameron Williams SG 22 6'4'' 202 C+ B C B C C
I'm surprised no one gambled on Williams before pick 23, but it is a good thing they didn't. He is a BUST.
Grade: F
24. Dallas - Antonio Thomas PF 6'11'' 244 21 B C C C+ C+ B
Antonio Thomas PF 21 6'11'' 244 B C C C+ C B
Marty needed to hope he could get a good big man out of this pick. A defensive big man would have been ideal, but they were all gone except for Kickingstallonsims(who we knew had no potential). Thomas had a bad TC and shouldn't be seeing minutes anytime soon.
Grade: D
25. Golden State - Chief Kickingstallionsims C 7'1'' 270 22 C+ D+ D B+ C B
Chief Kickingstallionsims C 22 7'1'' 270 C+ D+ D B+ C B
Pig knew what he was getting with this pick. Kickingstallionsims is always a great player to get at this point in the draft because you can likely move him for a pick that has some potential.
Grade: B
26. Chicago - Ado Ibrahimbeg SF 6'8'' 215 19 C+ B- C+ B- C+ A
Ado Ibrahimbeg SF 19 6'8'' 215 C+ B- C+ B- C+ B
Ibrahimbeg looks to be Andy's second bust in 4 picks. He didn't get better and didn't have the best notes.
Grade: C
27. Milwaukee - Alan Maddux SF 6'9'' 229 20 B B+ C+ C C- B
Alan Maddux SF 20 6'9'' 229 B A- C C C- C
Maddux was supposed to be a 'great bench player'. A player with his ratings at this point in the draft is a steal IMO. His production was great as well.
Grade: A
28. Golden State - Harrison Asamoah SF 6'9'' 210 19 C+ C C- B C A
Harrison Asamoah SF 19 6'9'' 210 C+ C- C B C A
Asamoah may still have some sort of game coming on in the future, but right now he looks like he is going to be a bust
Grade: D
29. New York - Shawn Burnett SG 6'1'' 185 20 B- B- C+ B C- B
Shawn Burnett PG 20 6'1'' 185 B- B- B- A- C- B
Outlawz takes a safe prospect only to find out they are instantly a good backup. Lucky Bastard
