Should non-PGs be allowed to play PG?

Ive always been down with allowing GMs to play whoever they want wherever they want as long as they arent playing inferior personnel. With Sidney playing well at PG a GM brought up how he thought it was unfair that Sidney is allowed to play PG. Obviously it is completely unrealistic to have a Center/Power Forward playing Point Guard but its a sim league and I hate enforcing too many restrictions.

Yeah, I think it's ridiculous that someone like Sidney can dominate at PG because of how stupid FBB is.

he's got B+ handles I don't understand the arguement here and how is it not realistic "Point-Forwards" have existed throughout the years in real life.. see Antoine Walker, John Jonson, Scottie Pippen ,Vlade Divac, Arvydas Sabonis, etc.

Just because they have certain plays set up where they start the offense doesnt mean they started at PG.

Even a team like the Bulls had Paxson or Armstrong as the starting PG. The ball was handled by Jordan or Pippen the majority of time, but thats why we have options in FBB.

Yeah, but in real life a guy like Sidney would never work at PG. Quicker PG's would annihilate him. FBB doesn't recognize that.

I just think they should have to sacrifice their rebounding if they're gonna move to PG, since it's an unfair advantage, as most teams play guys listed at PG as their PGs, so they lose rebounding points/can't go above 50.

It's funny people notice the MLE thing when i do it. Sidney at pg when i do it but other people do it and it's not an issue.

I wonder who brung it up. Probably too much of a bitch too say it out loud.

I hate this rule in PWW because you should be allowed to be creative and be able to maximize your roster talents in any way possible.

No other players have played guys out of position this blatantly before. I mean using SF's at PG is different then using C/PFs there.

That would make it more work for you, no?

Make the rule primarily for the PG position and it should be fine. The PG position is the easiest one to take advantage of.

Play is playin Bobo at pg.

Sidney is a rare player and has B+ handles, who can shoot from the outside its not like i have your typical PF/C at pg.

The MLE thing is that we were never allowed to extend a players contract past 3 seasons. No one ever did this before, we all thought it could be only 2 or 3 years. Than suddenly he could extend it to 5.

The way I saw it was if someone played a 6'7' SG at SF, he'd have to change position. Then if he was traded to play SG, that's another switch back to SG. That type of stuff happens a ton with C/PF's (like me, I'm starting Carter at C even though he's a PF) Not to mention, that's going through a bunch of DC's and rosters.
