Jackie Skoals

Wyoming
Potential BBS Ratings
C C+ B- C+ D+ A
Skoals is a sweet young PG hailing from the foothills of Wyoming. What he lacks in stature he can make up with footspeed. Although Skoals played limited minutes for the Cowboys this year he showed a lot of potential. Although his ability is raw, he showed signs of brilliance.
His numbers for the Cowboys were.
10.7 minutes per game
3.2 Assists
4.5 PPG
.3 TO
So we ask why such a small prospect at such a small school is getting so much attention?
Scouts are raving about the potential this kid has.
One scout has said "This kid is the next Chris Paul, no doubt about it"
The thing with Skoals is he grew up nowhere near civilization. He grew up on a ranch 50 miles outside of Casper. He had no idea what basketball was until he was 17. He was a cattle herder which built his athleticism.
He built some of the best hand eye cordination scouts have ever seen due to this cattle hearding. Once he dribbled a basketball, Coach Kodiak Bear had to have this guy. For the last two years he has gotten amazingly better and BBS scouts only think he will get amazingly better.
However here is the catch. Although scouts believe for him to have maximum potential, Skoals has a major chewing tobacco problem that has caused him some concern. Although the process is fixible, and does not threaten his life there are some peramiters due to medical treatment.
Skoals has gone on record to say after researching all situations that if a Western Conference team drafts him that he will be availble for the first four years for the whole season and playoffs due to the close proximity to his treatment center in Casper
If Skoals is drafted by an Eastern Conference team he will only be avalible for the last 60 days of the season as well as the playoffs HOWEVER IT HAS BEEN TOLD BY IMMEDIATE SOURCES TO SKOALS THAT HE WILL WORK 200 TIMES HARDER IF HE GOES TO EAST COAST TO MAKE UP FOR HIS ABSENCE
Take it for what its worth. Special player either way.
