I agree with Outlawz, lowering the soft cap to say, 47.5 would be a good idea.

I'm surprised more people aren't in favor of taking a year off contracts and reducing the max increases. It's something Spencer would have to consciously do but it's easy once you remember to do it. I did it for my old leagues.
It works with resignings as those players always go for 6 year deals with 10% increases as max.
And it's what the real NBA does so it's realistic.
