Right now I can't really justify tearing apart my team or re-tooling and being mediocre forever. Thing that haven't worked the last 3-4 years are working now, although it is only 25 days into the season. Here's some notes:
This is written to get my interest in the league back up again.

You should actually READ it!!
- Best passer in the league: Ricky Rubio 13.1.
- Ricky Rubio's %'s through about 25% of the season: .521 .811 .460
- Ricky Rubio #3 in the league in steals: 3.1
- Greg Oden has gotten better like the last 5 years and now is playing like the best center in the league. His numbers are 30/12/2.5/2.5
- We have the 2nd best rebounding duo in the league: Oden/Smith
How cool would it be to win the championship after getting the hard cap penalty? I think that would say alot, even making a deep run.
- Our offense in general is clicking. We have the 2nd best shooting % in the league right now at 47.6%. Also shooting 45% from 3P, that is 3rd best in the league. These stats includes Action Jackson as my 5th starter who needs to be moved for an upgrade, which actually just happened. Now have added DeRozen, with sick .496 .727 .530 %'s!!!
- Our defense is really good. Every starter is A- or A and we get a combined 19.5 spg+bpg per game lately. Our opponents FG% is .433. That's pretty damn good.
- We have 2 guys that are playing on an elite level at the 2 premium positions. Why break something like that up if they are playing their best game, when I would lose picks from the HC penalty that I would need to use to tank anyways?
- Underrated Austin Freeman has made a resurgence as well, averaging 20 ppg/6 rpg/3 apg/1.6 spg as the #3 option.
- My two back up bigs are averaging 20 ppg/12.7 rpg/1.6 bpg in 45 minutes.
So......
After thinking all that I decided to trade for a sg/sf who is having a great year. Then i would have 5 guys who are playing at the elite point of their game this year. So why not trade for a SG/SF who is playing his best ball? When it just costs me a '26 pick or a '25+'26+Action? Sure I think I'm pretty good at adding cheap depth to add once I get the 5th starter I like.
- So I've decided to trade for DeRozen, a very solid SG who upped his scoring ratings and is having one of the best seasons of his career as a #2 option while shooting sick %'s. His defense is listed as B- but it's probably very close to B given it was B+ before TC. He is on a SICK contract.
The Story of my Team
THE END
Let's see if it works.![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)
