Strengths:[/u]
Salmanca is freakishly strong. He's built like a tank. If he were five inches taller, he'd be an unstoppable force. He's also very driven to succeed, and will do anything. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty, he's a very aggressive player. He just outmuscles players in the post. However, he's also got a solid array of post moves. He's not ALL brute strength. Just mostly. Quality rebounder too. He's very quick too, as he runs a 4.58 40.
Weaknesses:[/u]
He can get too aggressive, to the point of frustrating his coaches and teammates. He's very hard-headed. Skill-wise, he's a poor passer, and a below-average defender. Perhaps most importantly, there are rumors that he's addicted to crystal meth, which will no doubt hurt his draft stock.
Overview:[/u]
Probably a late first round pick due to the drug issue, but skill-wise, he's a top 10 pick. If he can kick the habit and focus on basketball, there's no reason he can't become a terrific player.
