1. New Orleans Hornets- Terrell Morrison SG 6'5'' 205 21 B B+ B B+ C A
Morrison is the obvious number one pick. He will easily be a superstar and possibly the leagues top player by the time he is 25. He may be the guy to finally turn the Hornet franchise around.
2. Utah Jazz-DeAndre Chamberlain C 6'10'' 240 20 C D+ C A- B+ A
Entering his contract year, Andrew has no legitimate big men. Chamberlain would be an instant starter and help immensely. Taking a ready wing like Robert Band may be a better move, but I think Andrew has to have faith in his pick of Dmitri Maximov or else he will have to many holes to fill.
3. Chicago Bulls-Robert Band SF 6'7'' 224 22 B B B- C+ D A
Since Andy recently traded his upcoming 1st round pick, he has to win now. Band is by far the best prospect at this point to do this with. This selection will move either Band or Brynn Marshall to SG. Andy will have a big size advantage on most SG out there.
4. Golden State Warriors- Tyler Brady C 7'4'' 350 21 C D B+ B+ B A
Brady is one of several prospects who could go after the top 3. He is the only big man worth this high of a selection besides Chamberlain. A better fit would be one of the wings, but since they are all small I don’t see Pig wanting to pair one with 6’3 Hahn Owens.
5. Milwaukee Bucks- Skyler Hampton SG 6'4'' 182 20 C+ B+ C+ A- C+ B
The Bucks biggest need at this point is a superstar. All of their picks are likely to be available in an attempt to acquire one. If they decide to stay with their 4 lotto 1sts the best players available should be taken. Hampton is the most bbs ready wing man left and will see minutes from Day 1.
6. Milwaukee Bucks (from Suns)- Sebastian Garcia Ramirez PG 6'2'' 175 22 C+ A- A- C C- B
SGR is the only true PG worthy of a lotto selection in this draft class. The Bucks have a good PG in Bishop Daniels and a combo guard in LaDon Wachter. Neither of which look to be the scorers at this point and that is exactly what SGR will provide.
7. Washington Wizards – Sylvester Rollins PG 6'0'' 180 24 B- B+ C+ B- C+ B
The Wizards have several areas they could address with this pick, but Rollins is the only one who can solve their PG problems. He could be a riser come draft day, and looks like he will be at least a very good role player after 1 TC.
8. New York Knicks (from Hawks)- Kareem Melton SG 6'5'' 200 20 C B+ C C D+ A
Outlawz would like to get some sort of immediate impact out of this pick, but Melton has by far the highest sealing of the remaining prospects. He is a guy definitely worth the gamble and could very easily end up a stud one day.
9. Milwaukee Bucks (from Clippers)- Terric Harrison C 6'11'' 255 20 B C C- B B- B
Since the Bucks have already taken a wing and a PG, a big makes the most sense here. Harrison may be a bit of a reach here but he is by far the best all around big man left.
10. Dallas Mavericks- Aaron Baer PF 6'10'' 260 21 C D F A- A- B
Marty always likes to have good defensive and rebounding big men. Baer is a much better player right now than previous first round pick Raman Mukopadhyay. If Darko retires he will start from Day 1.
11. Golden State Warriors (from Pistons)- LaSav Cunningham SG 6'7'' 190 20 C+ A C C+ C- B
Unlike most of the prospects worthy of a top 5 pick, Cunningham has the size to play SF next to Hahn Owens. Cunningham and Owens will be one of the best outside shooting combos bbs has ever seen.
12. Milwaukee Bucks (from Blazers)- Sigmund Weissmuller SF 6'6'' 220 19 B- B C C+ C+ B
Adding a raw RP guy at this point isn’t a bad option for the Bucks. Should Weissmuller develop he could be a very beneficial player down the road.
13. Philadelphia 76ers- Cory Miller SF 6'7'' 225 20 B C C B- C A
The 76ers need a PG with this pick, but there are no worth taking. Miller is a guy who could be a great backup for them for a long time.
