If you have 3 years of sub 40 win seasons you will enter your contract year. In you contract year you must win 40 games, or make the playoffs. If you do not succeed you will be replaced. I hope that most people can succeed in this, and would return to BBS when an opening comes up.

This sounds interesting but a little crazy.
Are you really going to replace a top GM just because he's on a long rebuilding process?

This sounds interesting but a little crazy. Are you really going to replace a top GM just because he's on a long rebuilding process? Every case is separate. We've had it in BBS for a while now, and its quite effective at limiting rebuilding teams, and also the length of rebuilding. It also helps strive for the realism we all love.

I think it's a good idea. However I think for teams that show progression and just miss out on 40 wins, we should have an exception for them ..
(example) 01-02:50-32 02-03:35-47 03-04:18-54 04-05:25-57 05-06:38-44

It isn't cut and dry, I just want people to know they need to have effort here. You have to win. It will only improve competition.

Word. I like this idea, it keeps tanking in check, and makes things a bit more interesting around here,

I just have a problem with 3 opening up and that is because some people are going to want to get young stud's with potential in the first round and there contracts are gonna be out the roof. This means that most teams can only build through the draft and by there players progression.

Three years makes it a lot more challenging but I think it's enough time.
