Potential BBS Ratings-

Al-Jeddha will be the first Jordanian player ever to grace the BBS hardwood and man does this guy has skill. He has come along way from the back alleys of Amman where he was the son of a Islamic cleric. For his 12th birthday he bought a basketball due to his love for such greats like Derrick Rose, DeJuan Blair and Kevin Durant who dazzled his mind on the BBS court.
Every day when he went outside he would always dribble the ball, pretending he was his favorite BBS player. After reading a book on Pistol Pete Maravich he decided that the ball would go everywhere with him. He would dribble his ball in the cinema just like Pistol Pete in the process pissing off all in the theater. Although the chances of Al-Jeddha ever being as crisp of a player as Maravich is near impossible, BBS scouts are going over wild over the potential of him being just as good of ball handler/passer if not better then Pistol Pete ever was. "It might be hard to fathom, but you really have to see this kid play to understand."
At the Arab Nations U-20 tournament last year scouts were amazed at the amount of dazzling passes and amazing ball control that Al-Jeddha possesed. One scout told BBS insiders at the AAR Draft Camp that "Go to Rucker Park, The Cage, Venice Beach, Cloverdale or wherever and find me the best ball handler they have and I will show you this kid from Jordan who not only has more control and awareness then them but has more style, whip and pizazz with his abilities then any of them can dream of." While that might be hard to believe, many BBS scouts are echoing the same sentiments.
There are a few question marks with Al-Jeddha however. The major one is he has been only been playing organized ball for a couple years and is still incredibly raw on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. One scout says that "He has shown potential with his mid-range and long range shot, hopefully he can improve on that a lot in the near future.
With his ball ability is his amazing ability to drive to the hoop. This is where he seems to attribute most of his scoring, however he is incredibly weak and seems to get frustrated with bigger guards. Scouts really like what this kid can bring to the future.
A GSW scout said that "He is raw but if I love the potential he has, I would surprised if he is still on the board post-lotto, I mean really surprised."
